2 things bayman:
1- I query the promising at the start of your post. Nice lad but when you go more than 16 months not driving a winner not sure bout the promising quote.
2- think he got bout the right wack, both times horses where knocked out of the race which didn't look good, both on the first bend.
Have heard he is considering appealing the suspensions. Wish him the best not sure he'll have much luck.
Yesterday may of been telling young michael something!!!!

Any thoughts???

as for the appeal another driver told me he should have got time but the penalty was slightly too much, i wasn't there so i can not form a view or comment on the severity of the penalty

Honestly here is a good eample of what is going on with the stewards they are too busy trying to give young drivers 'heavty' suspensions rather than having a look into races where horses lead one week then hand up another and theres a plunge on one that rolls to the lead, a good example of that was the last race sat night not even a word said?? I'm not sticking up for Laird although thought the first one was bullshit but it just goes to ask the question what are they really watching when the race is on and why do we hardly hear of older drivers being suspended???
