The Seekers once sang this tune " The Carnival is over..."
Yes the Cup was run Saturday , the Interstate raiders stole our $$$$ AGAIN.
They also pinched a few $$$ in the other races as well.
The form was wayward with the raiders in some races.
Thank goodness we can now get back to some real Punting races.

BAYMAN has tipped a real up and coming horse
R7-7 WROXTON WITH A DASH
Has won his last 2 starts and has an enourmous career ahead of it.
Has a sprint that can be competitive from back draws
When drawn the front line can take up a spot and run very well
I expect this horse to be a C7 + horse.

i must admit i am a fan of 'wroxton', i think he'll be a nice horse whether he gets to ffa is another thing but the next year or so should see him winning a fair few races imho & it was very nice to watch him stroll in last week

Agree with BAYMAN maybe I was too presumptious Wroxton getting to the highest grades
But he has good acceleration when it sprints.
It can get to much harder grades and sit sprint and be competitive.

Helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
The club sheets do not include the Treble and Double legs for GDP
Why ?
Because of the F..K up last week when the sheets legs of the treble were different to the TAB ???????

A lot of punters I know are unimpressed with Punitab changing its treble legs from meeting to meeting
I would norMALly have my Treble worked out by now, but I will wait for TOMorrow

WROXTON 2ND
With that driver it will lucky to win another race.
I doubt if he will drive a worse drive in his lifetime
The horse is OK but the driver needs to use common sense in future

PONCH.
We all know its a sit sprinter.
Why take off early 3 wide early with Art n Soul in the death.
Jimmiah said the death was not up for grabs.
I knew the death was not up for grabs.
In fact an eskimo in the North Pole would know that.
Im disappointed.

On course Bookie Peter Dammerell is about to quit Monday afternoons at GDP.
He will finish up possibly 28/01/08 in a fortnight.
Its also a coincidence that a large punter has been on course the last 2 weeks as well

i'll be back at work after that meeting so it'll be 2 of us 'leaving the building'

he left for the dogs after race 7 today

also i heard a whisper last saturday that the bookmaker nicknamed 'biggles' is interested in fielding at gdp on saturdays, so with this happening it is possible that he could do mondays as well & he was at gdp for a little while today so was he checking it out ?
