WHY ?

why couldn't 'they' work out the program so that these two great races on the australian racing calendar DID NOT CLASH, surely one way or another a week forward or back wouldn't matter to either code

The Dog Administrators would have known a year in advance it was Inter GF Night.

A week either side would be the way to go or even a Sunday arvo or twilight meeting like the trots do with their Hunter Cup.

PURA CUP to see WATTO V SA today
EG V ST trial game
AC V HW cup game
Then punted the last 2 races at GDP

Didnt have time to see the Mardi Gras
