St Kilda at $2.15 looks inviting, few extra days rest on the power.

both teams start well but dont run out a full 4 quarters so whoever leads at half time may well be the winner!

Geelong $1.20 GIFT
BRISBANE $1.10 GIFT
hawks $1.20 gift

carlton are value along with the roos

Nothing really appeals to me there, swore a long time ago I'd try not to back the Saints ever again and Sydney at home are a different kettle of fish even if I did win money on them on the weekend.

I have a theory that i am going to stick to.....North Adelaide are $4 out to $7 since the start of the season..... I am going to back them for the flag after the Centrals game which has been my plan all along..... $7 is inviting now but I will stick to my plan...might get $8+ if they go down.....
Need Gill up forward and I notice they copped a few injuries on Sat.... :?

I thought a bit more about this week, the Collingwood v Essendond game is usually close, Im only going off memory but I reckon if you'd backed the outsider for every one of these matches you'd probably have a profit.

Saints yes Bullies no. I like the system but I honestly don't think West Coast will be able to go with all the Bullies runners.

AFL thoughts for the weekend -

Adelaide/Carlton - No Bet - tough one, lean to Adelaide due to Carltons 6 day break, Carlton's defence is finally working conceeding under 100 points 2 weeks in a row, after 24 straight games of over 100, looking at teh stats I believe this is to do with their midfield as last year they conceded on average 57 Inside 50's, this year they are averaging 51 conceeded. We know their defence is poor but if you restrict how many times it goes in there thats going to be a bonus....If I can get a good line/price on a low scoring game Ill have a small nibble...

Brisbane/Melbourne - Lines just win, will use them in multis

Collingwood/Essendon - Collingwood is the bet fading Essendon due to the TD system, Collingwood wenrt that bad last week, took the ball Inside 50 63 times....will be looking for a good win here

Freo/Geelong - Freo 6 day break, Geelong just win, will use them in multis

Hawks/Rich - Hawks 6-2 in their last 8 at the MCG with an average winning margin of 51 pts, beat Richmond by 53 here last year, Hawks have ahad some tough assignments in the past month and should be able to break away from the Tigers in this one...

Roos/Swans - Swans have lost their last 3 at the TD and aint travelling that well, 3rd interstate trip in 4 weeks, favour the Roos here as a PK

Port/Saints - Port at the line, fade the Saints TD system bet

WCE/Bullies - WCE take the points, fade the Bullies TD System bet

the -22 & -20 for cd & sturt could be painfull more so sturt as the weather forecast to start with (if happens) would make it difficult for a big margin, on paper central should win comfortably, with sturt glenelg i realise the midfield will decide the match but i'd expect this to go down to the wire

Looking at the expected wet weather in Melbourne on Saturday I'd say the Crows with bigger stronger bodies in those conditions would be a good bet at the MCG. Reasonable value too IMO.

Last week the telstra dome was at its hardest in history (according to the penotrometer readings) would have taken a lot out of Essendon's legs. Collingwood look the goods. With Anzac Day clashes having a history of being close I'll be on Collingwood 1-39 points @ $2.20.
