PORT PIRIE
____________

R2-9 MOVE IN SILENCE
short but should win
has a very good driver Jock Dunlop in the cart
good trainer Joey Buttigieg
go well again

TOP 10 DRIVERS
______________
Surely Kevin Brough gets into the top 10.???

SATURDAY NIGHTMARE
___________________

4 trotters races, a couple of good races [GRAMMEL/OAKS], but nonetheless trotters races
2 trotters races in the quaddie
Race 8 is the C6 or better race and guess what ? is not a quaddie leg
Might well be a record low investment protfolio for me.

VICTORIAN OAKS SATURDAY NIGHT'MARE'
______________

Race 7
7 runners
Sunza Gold and the first starting Vanilla Sunrise are representing SA
THE OTHER 5 WILL ARE LIKELY TO START THE 5 FAVOURITES
And those other 5 are all Victorians
Why oh why do we bother putting these races on
Might as well race the SA OAKS in Victoria and save the Vic horses petrol money

The logic BAYMAN.
Too many Derby/Oaks trotting races in SA are gifts for the Victorian border hoppers.
We continue to let the $$$$ slide Interstate.
Its a concern.
It would be nice if SA could have more runners and keep the $$$ in SA

The Vics sent over 5 raiders.
And yet SA could only supply 2 lousy runners.
A field of 7.
When the capacity is for 10 runners.

Without P Cavallaro, A Robinson or D Thuen up there, Iron Man can't be tipping any horses at Pirie..

R2 number 9 move in silence will be $1.10 well done on tipping it boys

R4 number 8 smooth casino looks a good e/w bet with Harding aboard

R6 number 1 fifty gorillas win (even with the 2 and 4 getting across him early)

As for the SA Oaks on Saturday night, They have to race it MAL, it's not about interstate horses winning SA Prizemoney in the Oaks....

It's the club trying to get a decent week of trotters races over in SA, to try and make the "carnival" as strong as possible. In order to do that, they need as many trotting races and feature ones, to encourage people to come.
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

its an absolute joke having all these trotters races, what about the $4250 claim a trotter monday, no 3 or 4 of them bundled up together are worth $4250. matter of fact all of them put together are worth that. i wont waste everyone''s time going on about the monte, everyone knows its a **** joke!

i hate to agree with mal, but i'm going to, infact i'l go one step futher and say bar all the bullsh!t trotters races, they're a waste of time and money!

If you had a trotter which went alright you'd be happy Chiefy. Cos you haven't you want to rubbish whole carnival.
Can't see how trotting races are any worse than the last few races run on the saturday nights!!!!!!

Mal would of thought the bigger fields with No odds on favourite could help the multi pools, meaning a bigger chance of a decent bigger divi!!!!!
But that means you got less races to tip us a $1.30 chance a late Mal special!!!!!!

Hard to find any value winners at Pt Pirie so i will give you the lay of the night
Race 4 no.2 Crew
If in the market lay it on bet fair cause i can not see this animal winning no matter how well it is bred.

Last week at Gawler the paper tipped Dinky Di to run third, so its good to see some Grand Circuit horses are making their way to our country tracks two weeks in a row

Gday there fellas, sorry havnt been able to bless you with my tips have been in the USA attending a punters conference. Only got back thismorning and just tuned in to watch R2 at Pirie and low and behold was that the LONE RANGER not handing up to an odds on fave who was clearly racing fierce on his outer, didnt run in the money either i might add - if handed up would have run a place for sure. What you got to say bout that BAYMAN. Loadedbelle 30/1 not handing up to Move in silence 1.20 at Port Pirie (huge sprint lane) over 2050...............Top 3 driver my arse.

High and Low will be good value in race 5 E/W
Ill bank on Fifty Gorillas making a meal of the good draw and Six Bid Solo getting up at odds. E/W

Dont like much else, and i agree the Gramel series is a load of shite and i reckon the trotters derby with 7 runners is a joke, what a waste of 10k
