As i have stated on this site earlier in the week that A Robinson claimed NODOGSALLOWED, A horse he trained already it was raised on this mornings trot show that his claim should of been invalid and should of been between the other two claims lodged instead, should the other two claims still count and been reclaimed by one of these claimants???
In the past if there were more than one claim for a horse did we use to have the names of the people in the stewards report of who lodged a claim??? Why has this changed?? It will be interesting the next time this horse races to see what price he has on his head and how many claims there are for this horse, but this time the powers to be got it wrong

and should re read the rules of claiming evets

i heard the show & thought the same thing myself, i suggest they'll do nothing but they should give the other two involved the choice whether they still want the horse or not, total incompetance by all in this

Its a frigin joke, the stewturd should get of his arse do his job properly and invalidate the claim and do a reballot with the other two. AR needs to take a long hard look at himself because hes biting the hand that feeds him, he's making a mockery of claiming races. While we are on the subject WHY do the stewturds allow claimed horses to return to the same trainer ????? they do have the power to give permission but from what i understand it's in the case of some new owners getting involved and claiming a horse and then being able to leave it with the same trainer because he is doing well with the horse. The rule IS NOT there so friends, wives, relatives and associates can put in multiple claims and retain a claimed horse.
Surely the stewturds know whats going on and its so easy to stop so WHY dont they do something !!!!!!!!
Why dont they enforce the 30 day rule, in the USA its 90 days perhaps we should do the same and put an end to bullsh.t claims.

And for those who are interested the rule is as follows -
73 . (1) In or with respect to a claiming race a person shall not
(a) claim directly or indirectly a horse owned, trained or driven by that person;
(b) claim a horse for another person unless authorised in writing to do so;
(c) enter into an agreement to claim or not to claim or to prevent or attempt to prevent a person from claiming a horse.
(2) a person who fails to comply with any provision of this rule is guilt of an offence.
This is straight from the rule book, basically A. Robinson has committed an offence guilty under part (a) and you could argue he is guilty under part (c) also.
If the stewards dont know the rules why are they getting paid absurd sums of money ???

From memory, Greg Rogers lodged a claim for Watabonamax under the same conditions and the claim was refused as it was in his wife's name and she was not on track.
The stewards have lost the plot, they're all off with the pixies.
Mind you, let Robo race in the $1k claimers. With the $600 purse for 1st place, he must like baked beans everyday.

The stewards should be investigated by the Police Integrity Branch or the corruption watchdog. Why are they not enforcing the rules and/or turning a blind eye to them when it suits themselves?
