my thoughts

Postby bayman » Wed Apr 05, 2006 7:38 pm

central should be a bit shorter

eagles big overs

north too short maybe south at points depending what the points are

sturt & norwood about right maybe norwood slight favourites

i wont be able to get on early enough as someone will take the eagles at that price they should be 1/6 in my opinion & i hope i'm wrong
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

i do agree that the Eagles are big overs i thought $1.20, they should be winning comfortably!

i thought centrals would be shorter.

north may be short but they should be winning at arctic park.

sturt and norwood, well thats probably a no bet game for me, but id be going sturt as norwood werent overly impressive last friday night.

sturt were very ordinary on saturday & if feast is still out they have no ruckman & having seen both games norwood were far superior to sturt last week (in my opinion)

Agree with bayman and mighty tiger
Eagles are good odds at $1-60 against the bays

The other markets look about right.

South are overs, i'll back 'em, but still kill for North. Great betting value, Central v Port. Iirc, Port pushed them in this game last year (may have won?) I'll back the Doggies on form. Sturt at $1.80 doesn't look to bad either, especially at home. If I was going to leave a game alone, it would be the Eagles v Bays. The Bays were impressive in parts last week, the Eagles were also, but I think maybe, the Bays have improved, the Eagles have slipped. Then again, it's only R2, who's hit their straps yet?

Either in person, or via phone account. I usually go down there friday's for lunch, & carry out my betting.

Auditorium, down at Morphettville. On Anzac highway, you can't miss it (in front of the Racecourse). When you go in, you go down stairs.

I reckon all games are pretty much a "no bet" this weekend - hard to push a case for anything IMO. Maybe South at the line if weather aint to flash on Saturday.

Good weekend to sit back and use it to study the form for ROund 3

My actual bets
Central/Sturt/South 1-39 @ $10.60
Central/Sturt/South 40+ @$40

South are huge overs, I thought.

A mate of mine is loading up (& i mean loading up...) on St's (-35.5) into the Pies (-3.5) @ $4.... I think that's a good combo.

You can get better value than that imo- St's into Pies @ the pts v Sts/WB/Shockers/Sydney & Cows. $4 v $4.47? I know where I'd be ptting my cash. For what it's worth, I think that WB/Shockers & Cows are a huge risk, & only 1 of those 3 need to get beaten (Shockers need to prove themselves before I'll put any hard earned on...). Anyway, good luck with it Dutchy, I'm not saying I'm right or wrong, just offering an opinion.
