DEE CEE ROCKET
_______________
In tonight at Port Pirie
Colin Casey[ex Sturt Footballer?] the trainer is harnessing up this pacer
19 starts
02 placings
$509 prizemoney
Its going to be one helluva celebration when DCR wins its first race
Good luck to the connections and the PB Rocket
Question for IRONMAN
' DCR has run 2 placings who was or were the driver or drivers who drove it in the 2 placings'
One of those placings at least was driven by a driver with a nickname of a USA city ....
WET TRACKS
Im having a fair degree of problems the form displayed by SOME horses in the wet of late
Anyone else having probs ?
PORT PIRIE SmalL FIELDS
7 Race programme
8
10
9
7
6
6
7
53 runners in 7 races
Why ? End of Pirie season ?
Is this the precurser for the 9 horse fields in September ?
70
CANT WINS PIRIE 15/8
R1-1 [$21]
R2-2 [$31]
R3-6 [$31]
R4-2 [$31] sorry but its Dee Cee Rocket
R6-6 [$8] not even this erstwhile magnificenty talented driver could win on this pacer tonight
OTHER RACES
R2-10 SLIP MAHONE
Has incurred the wrath of some SAFOOTY members for going around at PP tonight
My view, its a good young horse and adds to the standard of racing tonight
FWIW I think its an enourmous chance of winning despite the barrier and has Hollywood steering
R5-6 DONTFENCEMEIN
Hollywood is on this IRONhorse
Ran 5th in a hot field last run after being very wide in the run
Simply finds the death seat tonight
Looks winner
Looks a monty in QUINS/EXACTAS
R7-2 What happens in the first 99 is the key .....

Mal Please! This Colin Casey outperformed 6 of Adelaides (and a couple of Melbournes) leading handlers of a knife and fork at a city restaurant some years ago. This group included the current RPH harness show host and the late great G.O.Silke. And just for good measure put a dozen West End Draught echoes away with the meal! So no he isnt the ex Sturt footballer but despite Dee Cee Rockets modest record he has in the past proved to be a handy horse trainer his best horse was Double Barrell 44 starts 13 wins 17 places $49,554 who raced in the late eighties- early nineties.
PS. The guest tipsters spot on the RPH tomorrow mornring is still available so if you are interesred PM a contact number and i will pass it on.

r5 no 6 way too good for this lot but way too short as well
r6 no 1 e/w should enjoy a cheap run on the fence
r7 no 7 e/w although first up looks to be better than most if not all of these

Your close chiefy and your right my mail...
Cos the horse was bought at the sa yearling sales, when it races as a two year old they recieve points. At the end of this season which is at the end of this month, the horse with the most points recieves the award. The owner and breeder recieve $13,000 each. Had slip mahone won last nite he would have taken the lead, but as it stands now with 2 weeks to go, raisanna ruckus leads by a point ( i think) from brutus smith and then slip mahone. (It goes something like that anyway)
Perhaps joey can edit this if im out a little bit...

Gee Mal your cant wins was a $21, $40 and $50, tell me your secret! My pet koala can pick those horses not to win.

hey orange boy, at least those without as much knowledge as you can at least say well i wont put them in the quinella or trifectas which does at least help as did your post as well, as for melbourne & west coast they are safely entrenched in the 8 the bottom 8

I tip certanties
If 10% of the time they are short enough to lay on Betfair then thats a winner
I can tip certainties I cant always control what odds they start at
As I have said countless times if one of them wins I will ban myself for 30 days from posting

Mal, now that your fame has spread to the extent that the Harness show was giving out your selected "late Mals" for Globe Derby I ask this question
- Did you break your no.1 Golden Rule and make Elicit Earl a "late Mal" even though it ran last night ?
Your thoughts on running twice in 24 hours is well known.

Ive been told repeatedly it can be done by the gurus on this site
No doubt SCD/BAYMAN will have excuses for its defeat
Poor tip

Hi Zahov,Taking into account 1st,2nd,and 3rd points are different for metropolitan/c fronts (saturday nights),to country fronts ie; Gawler,Port Pirie,Cranbourne,Bendigo ect as well as restricted fronts being different again,i have it that as off thursday the 14th rasina ruckus has 55 points, Brutus smith has 52 points, and Slip Mahone was on 58 points, now that was prior to this week end but like you (i think).................

O.K.................Couldnt help myself i had to try and calculate all 3 horses point (as i see it) as of Sunday 17th....Taking into account that all three horses raced this weekend.................Brutus Smith...52 points............Raisina Ruckus...56 points............Slip Mahone...61 points..................
