Not again.
Another one of my whinges about the most incompitent TAB in Australia.
Today I had a few minutes to kill b4 going to my Doctors appointment.
There was a race at Albion Park Trots [race 1]
I filled out my tickets for a Trifecta.
2/3469/1 flexi invest $2
2/1/3469 flexi invest $2
It was meant to be an interest bet with my schrapnel.
BUT
The TAB computer didnt accept the bets.
The reply was Mininmum spend $3 for my $2 bet bets.
I could not be rooted filling out another 2 tickets so watched the race.
The bet got up and paid $44-10 my return would have been $22-05 = $18.05 profit.

POINT BEING
UNITAB tabs and net betting will disallow the $2 investment.
HOWEVER.
VIC + NSW net betting will accept a flexibet for the $2 investment.

Oh Unitab youve done it again :butthead:

you dont have to re-do your tickets as they can be changed by the TAB operator

Supertab + NSW patented the flexi system they use so unitab couldnt introduce it themselves, leaving unitab to use i believe a south african system, so who do you blame, supertab for not allowing anyone else to use there system? or unitab for introducing the current system? or both?

i love unitab :wink:

, i had a sMALl allup on friday which included dontfencemein who dead heated as a $1.30 pop & then the div came through after shadeofsport won i got back more than i thought so i added it up again & got less than what i received so i looked up the results & UNITAB PAID $1.00 WIN (not $0.65) so they do not always shaft you :wink:

while happy to take it i think it is a stupid rule

the rules exist before you bet Mal... if you don't like pUnitab, don't bet with them!

fair call Punk, question is though Mal, you had your phone on you, why not ring the interstate TABS and put the bet on with them?

Im in a TAB in SA
Im not aware of the STOOOOOOPID $3 minumum spend[But am now so will allude to Punkys advice]
So I cant get on, and you want me to ring up an opposition TAB who provide that service.
I sure can
But give me a break
Thats the point, my business leaves SA and goes to VIC/NSW tabs who are far superior

PS
I dont have a Mobile Phone, but could LOOK for a Public phone [if it works..]all in the 60 seconds prior to the race starting.

Poor service = poor turnover.....

has anyone been having a look at the first 4 pools on Unitab during the week.... who seriously is putting bets on this? **** stupid!!
