Spring carnival

Postby warrior » Fri Sep 05, 2008 5:38 pm

With the spring carnival upon us which jockeys, horses and stables are going to fire this year. Are there any up and coming jockeys or horses that are emerging? Is there any horses from last prep or last spring that our expert gurus have blackbooked and are waiting for the right race to win. Would be interesting to select your jockeys, horses and stables now and see how they perform. Anyone got anything to follow?

Snowden in Sydney.... I do like McEvoy generally but I just think he is riding to patiently at the minute..... He has cost me a fortune since his return and I will not back him until he starts putting his mounts into the race on the turn..... we are not at south africa or royal ascot now!!!!

I liked a horse called Theseo trained by Gai, went well first up and going to have a big go when it gets up to a mile.

Hawkesy has an unraced horse called O'Lohnro that I think will be a top liner.... look for it to debut in the next week or so.....

I think Murtajill and Musket are horses to follow when they resume racing in the next couple of weeks.

A few that I have taken in some early doubles are,

All American and Pompeii Ruler in the Cox Plate, Sirmione and Zarita for the Caulfield Cup and Mad Rush in the Melbourne Cup.

Red Element to also win a good sprint race over the carnival.
A 3's on winner is better than a 20/1 loser !!
