i'd say (yes) it hasn't come up well this time & as an 8yo it probably isn't the same horse he was

Even tho the form speaks for it self but iam still not rating BLACKY above POPPY .Go through his career the TAssie Inter. LEAD and FELL in and beat Karlew Mick which was 3 wide the last 1200m.Adelaide Inter. beat horses like B.B.Johnny which he has proven he cant run 3 times in 4 weeks and Tribute which goes fair.Melb. Inter.Got the race handed on a PLATER when L.Justice decided to hand up the LEAD the first time in his life.When POPPY lead he would normally SPACE them.Thats where i rate the 2 of them.I think Blacky is a bit like Our Sir Vancerlot best horse around at the time.

Geez, ONE poor run and BAYMAN has written the CHAMP off.
Is Changeover GONE too?
There was toooo many BAD runs in the MM last night to know what to make of it.
I think the ONE thing to come out of it is that MELPARK MAJOR will take over BAFs title as Australias BEST pacer but has to win more than a few sprint races first which btw he didn't do last night anyway although desrved to.

2 lacklustre runs & last night was worse than last week, i have a feeling now that they have seeen this that its competitors wont be handing up to it as often as in the past

yer i think it was a dissapointing run b4 the MM and then the MM was shocking!!!
blackie isnt going anywhere near his best.
And i agree with bayman other drivers are not going to hand up lead/death as oftern now to blackie.
