Globe Derby Mon 22nd

One of the most important races on the program is usually Race 4 because its the 1st leg of the Quaddie except say on Sat nights where its the 2nd leg.

My point being, which GENIUS decided to make Race 4 a Race for virtual unknown and all but 1, unraced 2yo's. A great decision that will effect pools Australia wide.
Does anyone in charge even think of things like suitable races for trebles, quaddies etc. and whether a race they've programmed is going to have a $1.20 pop in it therefore affecting multi's.

Gerard please, GO NOW because you are embarrassing yourself and the game. :butthead: :butthead:

G if your going to bet on globe derby, and have any idea at it GET OFF YOUR BIG BACKSIDE AND go to the trials and do some propper form yourself, instead of spunging off everyone, people who done the trial form knew the winner was clear 1st pick............................

what about 1 of the great come back's that should have never happened today....................

a certain driver stated that his horse which was having its first ever start today would win 12 straight, unfortunatly no one know's where it finished.....................................

very ordinary camera work john rothe, can you please get a very wide view camera, or try and show the whole track at all times?

I agree with you about going to the trials etc and those who put the effort in, should reap the rewards but not all of us get SPOON FED from Daddy's employees.

I still stand by my comments re the scheduling etc etc ;) ;)

Yet G Races 1,2,3 all had less win pools than Race 4....there goes your arguement

Race 4 would've had a bigger win pool than 1,2 + 3 cos the start was delayed a few minutes which gives the mugs in pubs and clubs extra time to invest as sky channel then focus on the race more instead of crossing to the track in the score up.
Rarely does the quality of a trot or dog race have anything to do with pool sizes, its more a timing matter and how much exposure SKY gives it in the lead up hence its better for clubs to be always running a few minutes late.
PS. I usually have a quad on the trots but didn't bcos of the unknown factor of the 1st leg.

Zahov did he say the horse would win 12 in a row or did he say it was as good as that top liner oztreous that needs a jnr driver to win a c4 race. You never no it might win 12 in a row yet :D

Thanks Jackpot Jim as your last comment about taking Quaddies was the point I was trying to make.
Obviously the trial form was their with the favourite winning comfortably but to the run of the mill punter they had no idea until betting was under way. My decision to not take Quaddies was made on Sunday night when studying the fields and admittedly being in the dark on many of the 1st starters. ;) ;)
