Sky City Holdem Championships

Postby mickey » Fri Jan 09, 2009 11:42 pm

The major poker tournaments on the Adelaide schedule are fast approaching again...

With Poker Stars offering satellites to the main event this year and being the 1st leg of the new ANZPT, it should be a good series.

http://skycityadelaide.com.au/shadomx/apps/fms/fmsdownload.cfm?file_uuid=66E38154-1C23-CEA7-8FA3-1834BCAE968B&siteName=skycity

above is the link to the schedule, im definatly playing in event 4 and hoping to get time for a few more.

Maybe the powers that be could arrange a polo shirt or cap i can wear for some free exposure for the site ;)

or we could get a few posters playing and have a last longest bet, where we all put up $x amount and the last 1 in the tourny wins the pot :D

On another note, if anyone is looking at joining a poker site, id strongly suggest looking into opening a rakeback account. Basically its an account where you will get a % of your rake(house commission) paid back to you.

I use www.rakebackstat.com , they offer rake back at these sites:

Full Tilt
KS Poker
Absolute Poker
Ultimate Bet
Cake Poker
Bodog
PKR

The only catch is they only pay for new accounts, so if you already have an account, i suggest signing the wife up ;)

and if you can be kind enough to use my referral code, id be most appreciative :D

You participating in the Sky City $3,000 NL Hold'em Main Event starting Wednesday mickey?

i'll be lining up to have a crack at it having earnt my entry fee from Baymans' tips the last few months. :D

I'm hoping to do a Steve Bradbury and just sit back in the pack and let the Big guns take care of each other and then Swoop past them to Victory  $-)

Only trouble is that i hear that Lightning never strikes twice. :(
