morphettville saturday 2nd may

is the target a shoe in?, has been thrown into the race at the weights, i wont be taking the $1.60 though. Might put my pennies on naval escort in the derby, thoughts anyone?

Target should and probably will win, but at his age and first try in Adelaide, I won't be taking such short odds.
Diplomatic force races very well here, i like him for a place.
Fitoussi should win the Derby.

The target should win but so should have Miss Andretti, still hurting over that one!!! I have learnt my lesson I am out..... Hope he wins by 4 tho....

Good call AG! No horse is a certainty although you like to see the champions win , first time at the track and the weather raining now so it will be a heavy track. Quality animal but at $1:60 you could be smarting like Miss Andretti (I was on it too).
Couple of other chances in the race are Augusta Proud and Blahnik. Augusta proud meets i am invincible 5.5 kg better then last start second although wide draw not a help but if there is a swooper it could be one of these two I mention!!!

Tramauntana might be the one out wide over the top. I might have a quin with TT... might pay $5 or $6 ......not sure if it handles the wet tho. Study to be done.

6 - 1 just looks the winner
7 - 10 looks nice odds at $7.50

I should preface this with the fact that I hate picking fave's so I always go for value. 20/1 or better, so I always back them each way.
Ipswich

2. 11, 1, 7, 9
3. 4, 8, 11 at long odds if it can run the distance (you'd hope!)
