Really sad news. The term "champion" is used very freely, but she was a true great of the turf. Loved watching her freewheeling in front and breaking the hearts of those chasing. An amazing mare that was a real wonder.

That's so sad, I must admit I never liked mares but she became my favourite horse too, once heaps of money on her despite her being short most of the time but it was more than that.
