TAB fixed odds a joke

TAB fixed odds on racing are not competative.... I have studied it for weeks, even most mid-week races that are covered by fixed price and they are a joke. It is for mug punters.....

Here's some value for you also....

High Low double as of Sat Morning....
51726 GEELONG 116-WSTN BULLDOGS 114. $725.00

Now for us to get this bet up at $725.00 we would need 7 draws with all other 14 teams drawing on 115 points......hahaha

would we be better of backing the draws at $67 x $67 x $67 x $67 x $67 x $67 x$67 or taking the $725.00 on offer by the TAB? (plus you could back all total match scores to be over - which thery would be ;) )

Even an all-up on all 7 remaining games 'either team under 15.5' gives you odds of $10,282.00 for your $1 investment......

now what should I take the $725 on offer for 7 draws from the TAB or $10282 all-up for either team under 15.5 at 14 times the odds and get 30 point spread (either under 15.5) instead of 1 point spread on the draw  .

you are right AG. this should be on the best jokes thread. $725 for that high-low double should be about $200,000,000,000,000 - 1 and that is unders

agree disgrace but they have to be the dumbest bookie in Aus atm, for instance last weekend they had a u/o total points line at 200.5 with both at 1.85, Malfair had line of 203.5 with money up to back unders at 1.52 (4.5k sitting there) so you could take the tab's under 200.5 at 1.85. 32c for 3 points $$ went on and they needed 95 points in the last quarter  . Awful odds at times but keep your eye out for amazing value ;)

TABSportsbet left the odds up after the players had teed off in the European Open today. Play had been going nearly an hour. I backed Peter Hanson $67, Tom Aitken $61 and some other dud (Gary Lockerbie) at $401. All 3 players were all 2 under after 4 holes or there abouts. Garcia was +2 and was still equal fav as thay had left the odds up and you could still get on. It got taken off shortly after but its a bit of a bonus a 2 shot buffer..... still 68 holes to play but any bonus is a good one.
I stand to get back a 5 figure sum if any of them do win.
Not a huge mistake but could be costly to them if one of mine get up

Just checked and after 13 or 14 holes they are......
Peter Hanson is leading on -4, Aiken tied 2nd on -3, Lockerbie tied 17th on -1.

good luck AG. looked on betfair and you can lay them both at $16.

I studied there racing fixed odds that they put up 20 mins before most races today and they have 8 or 9 runners under $10. who honestly punts on that?

Can anyone tell me if I got ripped off today.

I had $100 on 'any other' in the jockey challenge at Ballarat at $3
The results were a 3 way tie...

Yendall 4
Zahra 4
Rodd 4

Both Yendall and Zahra were under the 'any other jock'.

How much should I have got back?

Id say $200 as u got 2/3 of the win, but possibly only $150 as it was a tie and with most ties u get half odds

half return should be if it is a 2 way tie....

any other jockey should mean you have every other jockey, so if 2 tie you should get 2/3 of the result in this case. $200 return. Dutchy please confirm

150 return as 2 of your jockeys were on the same ticket thus the same bet so in reality it was a two way dead heat at least you showed a profit

There has been some good overs on the fixed prices on the gallops. Especially on the Saturday and Wednesday Pre post markets.
They put their price up and let you have a good bet at that price. Can't complain bout that. Have to remember got more customers and point of sale outlets than any other bookie, they don't have to put up the best odds all the time.

In todays Herald Sun Tabcorp said they plan to bet fixed odds on all 3 codes by end of year.
Can't wait for trot prices to go up.

Can see mal doin more study already!!!!! :D :D :D]

PS this post has been dedicated to WESTSIDER!!!!!!!! (hope it is positive enough for him)

They don't have to put up 120% or less cos they will get some wrong and there will be value there. Just like the gallops.
