gawler dogs sat ?

did i hear that correctly this morning ? i was listening to the footy show then it went to the dog show & i'm sure i heard them say there was a meeting on saturday.......now without knowing what times they start would the gallops &/or the trots be happy about this ? is it a tab meeting ? but my main query is why a saturday close to the city ?
