HOW UNITAB SCREWED ME #$*&$@#%!!

On monday afternoon i placed a bet with UNITAB for the dogs for
that evening.
It was sg2-1 and had 30 place on ALWAYS COOL.
The race was abandoned after the dogs raced for a few hundred
metres as the boxes opened slowly.
About 20 minutes later the race was re run.
The dogs were vetted and 2 dogs were deemed unfit to run the re race.
6 dogs contested the race and ALWAYS COOL ran 3rd.
SUPERTAB paid $2-80 a place NSW tab paid $2-40 a place.
UNITAB did not pay a third place dividend much to my horror.
I rang UNITAB who said that they pay a third dividend on 7 runners
after a late scratching but not a third dividend for 6 runners.
I feel i have been ripped off as I had placed a bet in good faith
expecting 3 place dividends.
Even if aware of the rules I would not have been able to phone
up and cancel the transaction i was told.
SO PUNTERS BE AWARE OF THIS LITTLE KNOWN OBSCURE RULE.
