your kidding aren't ya MAL?
lisa got beaten a head in an interdominion final, won numerous group races around australia and trained 100's of winners in her prime. at this stage theres no comparison!

and i'l add to that, lisa drove week in week out against the best, G Webster, J Justice, L Justice, R Sugars etc. and went interstate and held her own.

Danni may be as good one day, but has a long way to go! but she's heading in the same direction/path that lisa took!

LATE MALS 8 IN A ROW
BETFAIR LAYS 168 IN A ROW [167 unplaced]

LATE MAL
LIGHTNING MCCOOL fell in [phewwwwwwww]
PAID $1-20
What was the best on Betfair ?

I reckon those LATE MAL winners are:
$1-20 x 4
$1-30 x 1
$1-50 x1
$1-70 x1
$3-20 x 1

About $4-50 profit using a $1 bet per winner using Unitab
Never big odds but as MT79 always says
" Everytime you win you dont lose."
And a quote from Centreman
" You never go broke backing winners"

stewards report 15th June wrote:Paul Cavallaro (OHOKA DAKOTA NZ) ($2.60) favourite was questioned regarding the horses performance in todays race when after racing back in the field, OHOKA DAKOTA NZ obtained a three wide run on the back of LORENZO BROMAC NZ (D Hill) with a lap to run. When OHOKA DAKOTA NZ was asked to make ground leaving the back straight on the final occasion he only ran to the line fairly. Mr Cavallaro stated that he was disappointed in the horses performance today and the only explanation he could give to the Stewards was perhaps that the horse did not back up from its run on Friday night and that he may have to space the horses races in the future. Stewards noted the explanation of Mr Cavallaro.

I hope the connections got a packed out of the winner today...
I also hope the stewards are asking questions..

OHOKA DAKOTA
1ST 12/6
6TH 15/6
Stewards made an enquiry about the 6th of 7 runners after a 3 day break
Cavallaro said it perhaps it didnt back up and he MAY have to space the horses runs in future

4TH 11/7
1ST Today 13/7
After only a 2 day break OHOKA DAKOTA puts up a tough run and wins

SCD is correct in scratching his balls in confusion ?????? :-k

What happens now ???
Will the driver be asked questions ????

SUMMARY
I think that this horse backs up well after 48 hours but cant after 72 hours !!!!!!

SCD
The steward can ask questions but in the end the driver was justifiable in backing up and winning, its his perogative to place the horse as sees FIT
IF anything more than questions are raised I would consider it an inappropriate action

SCD
How many times do I gotta tell youse all SOME horses can back up and SOME horses cant ...

This goes to show that P Cav just told them anything the other week to keep the stewards happy.
It shows he wasn't worried about backing up cos he had no problems doing it this weekend.

Mal your the one who has always said horses can't race twice over weekend and perform well. But they can as we seen today.
Many trainers fast work or gallop their horses 2 days before a race so not much difference.

Looks like it backed up well once[1st] but not the other time[6th of 7]
SOME can back up well SOME dont

My overiding paramount point
Are the ones that back up able to perform at close to 100% of thier ability ???????

Ohoka Dakota failing once, but then performing well the other time is a classic example
