OK I just put up $1-99 to back Dixie in race 3 in case you are idiotic to lay that

PS someone put up $3-04 MASSARUA for $5
I backed it for one reason
To stop LTPs run of 10 Betfair lays in a row getting up ;)

Got no probs anyone being better than me
AS LONG AS I WIN
Yep I got $1-47 the PLACE for BAD BOY BLUES on LTPFAIR [toot toot]
And backed the winner [partly becoz my main man didnt like the bb blues]

11 in a row for LTP :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

Oh my betfair lays from the Port Pirie thread were
R1-4 [178]
R2-8 [179]
R3-7
R4-3
R5-8
R6-4
R7-3
R8-7
R9-3

SPAN
Thats 179 in a row
and only 1 has been placed as well
Hey I can hardly lay any of em
But Ive laid a few WIN + PLACE

But there are DOPES out there that take these horses in Multis Exotics and back them WIN + PLACE on the TAB

BETFAIR LAYS all defeated all unplaced
Total 186 in a row now.

FAT BOY FELLA
Gs lay of the night was beaten
Good luck to G if he layed it on Betfair
At odds on was way too short for my liking and G got none of my hard earnt
But in the end G made $$$ ??? not me, so he wins on points

LTP 12-2 On his BETFAIR LAYS a truly remarkable effort as most have been favourites
On a $1 win lay basis I rekon LTP is showing a $9-50 profit

DIXIE galloped AGAIN
2 starts at GDP and gone arse up both times
Did have a multitude of gear changes for this latest run
Frustrating for the connections
And for me who got baited into backing it with the Betfair gurus
Its formline is 1ST or Unplaced in its runs
Whats the solution to its waywardness ?

Mal all bullshit aside you are embarrasing yourself with your betfair lays all tho people out there put them in multiples it doesnt help you WINNING.The majority of your selections nerver get MATCHED because NO one WANTS to BACK them individually. If we all did what you do we would all get 10,000,000 in a row and nerver make 1 dollar. The name of the game is to make CASH not to showoff and make NOTHING.Any Suggestion can we help MAL tip something in the region of say $1.80 to say $6 them people will match ya.

G
You win on points
FB FELLA was beaten as a short priced fav and you were right
I didnt back it as I put up $4 to back it
In the end it lost, you layed it and won $$$
I didnt havabet and watched
I DIDNT LOSE ON IT but you get the points decision

LTP
JOEY challenged me to putting up horses quoted less than 10/1 in the paper as lays
I got up to about 12 beaten
JOEY didnt acknowledge that so I stopped doing it
As for the non matching
Yes its hard to reel in the dopes on Betfair to back em, there are a lotta smarties betting on Adelaide Trots, but I have managed to lay about 2 WIN ONLY and about 20 odd for a PLACE
Ive made a lousy $250 approximately odd from them in those 186 losers
Only one of them was placed [and that was one in that bracket of 10/1 or less in the press]
SO
I put them up to be backed and have made a few bucks outa them
If I can make $500-$100 laying them per year I will keep doing it

In the next trots thread I will ask for a Poll
I will ask if anyone benefits and uses that info
Maybe just maybe some non professional trotting punters find that info helpful

TAB PUNTERS
Every single horse that I make a BETFAIR LAY has
WIN UNITS
PLACE UNITS
UNITS IN DOUBLES/TREBLES/QUADDIES
And would be in peoples QUINS/TRIS/ANY2S/EXACTAS ....but can never know that for sure as they all run unplaced!!!!!!!!

keep doing what your doing mal as it has to help even to leave them out of multis & no one would really expect you to give out more value in price of winners & those in the market to lay as the vultures would jump in & take the value winner or lay the lay of the night of you to start with

to all the gurus out there

i've just finished watching last nights replays & with fat boy fella seeing you gurus are talking about it i'll ask was the driver too cocky on the turn & early into the straight ? i reckon he thought he had it won & 'just sat pretty' & when the winner loomed up with momentum it was too late for MALLY BOY FELLA to sprint up....what do the gurus think ?

Look at your last sentence
Only LTP and Guru can answer the question

The reasons the horse was a LAY were due to ;
1. Drawing barrier 7 over the 1800m [the barrier has a shocking strike rate]
2. Mark Norman on board from that barrier and his general ability which includes the finish ;)

1/ I think the better horse won considering he burnt for the lead at the start.
2/ or maybe the edge was taking off Bad Boy Fella on monday with a slippery last half might off took the stuffing out of it.
