Hardly an incentive to go. Save $10 and then get ripped off with exorbitant food & drink prices.
Havent been to the Gallops for years and it would take more than Free admission to get me back there.

I went last week to the Dermody. The racing was sensational but the crowd was pathetic and is a real worry to the future of the sport in SA.

I have not been approached to coach at the WFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the WFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

I've said for a while, the only way to get people in to the races is give them some incentive to get outta their lounge chairs where they have all the facilities at their fingertips.

Free entry is a start. Perhaps a $20 betting voucher when you walk in the door and/or a free race book - or if they keep the books a a minimal price, include vouchers for "2 for 1" food/beers.
