R7 looks an interesting one with 4,5,7,8 all chances.

Sources tell me last run was very good dispite alot of checks and squeezed out, will be looking to ping out 2nite and get across b4 the 1st bend which it just failed to do last start with the other dog clipping the heels. Hopeful of a clear run 2nite No1 is the main danger, quinella looks the goods.

While I thought Rib Tickler was a little bit disappointing last time out I am willing to give him another chance. A GOOD chance at that. Looking at the field, there isn't much class around. Transalder is a Healesville straight dog, that doesn't begin all that well and is suited in a clear run. HIGHER can ping, but even in the perfect run tends to fade a little. I mean 10-0-1-0 record at the track doesn't boast that well!
Bein Canny only has 2/13 or something placings from boxes 4-8. Not a good sign when your drawn outside a reasonable beginner in #7 I'M Brumby's. #6 Today's Special is returning from an injury. Reserve runner has the experience and if begins like last start over Sandown, may stand some sort of place chance.
But if Tickler doesn't win this race. Then I won't be backing him for quite some time!
MARKET:
#1 $8.50
#2 $2.00
#3 $10
#9 $18
#5 $30
#6 $45
#7 $10
#8 $15
2-1-3-7
Have gone with those selections, purely because I think they will jump in that order. And with these SEMI CATS, they just wont improve their position. The only runner who may run home is the reserve. But faces a tough draw #4.
I notice good old Ronny Hawkswell has tipped 7-1-2-3. I guess he believes that I'M Brumby's wil lead and Rib Tickler will disappoint again. Watchdog 2-7-8. HOTDOGS 2-7-8 also.
This race looks a strong exotic race though.
