For those who like using systems to make their bets, here is an online program that you put in all your variables and it tells you the horses....

Graham Sharps Fortune on 4 place betting system was a good read
You see his advert in the racing sections still
About 15 years ago a few of us pitched in and spent $50 for the book
I found the book very helpful for my place punting
I never used the system, I more or less just used the punting maxims

I signed up for this website after your post Mr_Willy and have setup a few systems. I will be interested to see what they pick this weekend. So far they are all making a profit :D
Although i can't seem to get into the Top 20 http://onlinesystembuilder.com/TopUsers.php

Also, they are giving away a free subscription up until the 6th of September incase anyone is interested. I got an email with a confirmation code in it a few hours after i signed up. It gives me a free try of the weekly picks.

From the front page
----
Free Subscription - 31-08-2009
Due to an issue where people were unable to signup over the last few weeks. I have decided to offer all new members a 1 months free subscription. This will allow you to view any horses that your systems select throughout the month.

Offer closes on the 6th September.

Is this your site?? or are you pretending it isn't and plugging it anyway

otherwise it should read "they are trying to get it into the top 20".

I think you have misunderstood. That top 20, is people's systems that make a profit. I have no idea what you mean by "they are trying to get it into the top 20"? Either way i got one of my systems profitable enough to get into that top 20 list [Maverick, Mav's System, 11.94%, -14.72%, -1.39%, 29.17%, 50.00%]. I don't know how someone got a profit of 287.62%. Ive been trying for quite a while now.

If it was my site why would i have emailed them asking for a current TAB price to be added? Wouldn't i just add it myself?

That was easy. And old fav of mines goes through into POS 12. I don't think many submit their systems into this place yet. Otherwise there would be heaps.

But they are only SMALL SMALL samples. It is easy to get that sort of profit.

In my experience what you have to think of, is what others tend to ignore.

For instance WIDE barriers in short distances.
