Drawn the wrong side of the track, but hits the line hard
Just waiting for this dog over a bitta ground, might well be a star stayer

6...$3-50 AMBERS ACE............best dog, but shit draw, top hope any luck
7...$9-00 BUDDY BANDIT.........runs on well, but finds one better, roughie ew
8...$14-00 LODGINGS..............trials good, but prefer others

I think KIM JINX or AMBERS ACE are the 2 best hopes of winning, they need a bitta luck early to feature

BUDDY BANDIT will be climbing over them late and must not be left out of any trifectas to be placed
SLEDGE prob wont beat 5+6 if they get nice runs, but one thing this super dooper Malpet will do is run into the finish given ordinary luck
Will round them up at some stage, but the last 50m just plods
Maybe with 2 extra 731 runs it can run the trip out 100%

im going to take various combinations based on those

going 1 out the top selections and then top 2, top 3 and all 4 in each leg

going to go skinny in a couple of legs and wider in the others but have enough tickets so its all covered

apart from quaddie will take those in the exotics $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

3 - 5,6 one of these should be winning, another race with first starters

9 - 2*************should win here but expect the 6 to lead from 4 early stages, hope the 2 lobs third on first turn will be too strong

Over the 600m at AP, the best boxes are the middle ones! Has something to do with the angle of the boxes, seems like if your in box 7 8 you have no chance, most times the 4 will lead. Inside runners usually get crossed, unless they are REALLY quick out and just poke through. Dont believe me? Just have a look the next few times the 600s are on

I think the inside boxes have a huge advantage over the 600.... purely because they start on a turn. Groover you cant convinvce me that the 4 box is closer to the first turn thatn the 1 box and with the turn so close big advanatge inside...... mal thoughts???

From box 1 the dog has to run outwards toward the turn, rather than boxes 4 5 6 who get to run straight then around! Major advantage in my mind

Also Gawler is very much the same, except its less harsh on boxes 7,8 because its a decent wide runners track!
Over the 515m and 731m races the inside does have the advantage.

2 things I look out for in 600m races
Risk 7+8 when possible as I reckon its a shorter run to the first turn
But then again I prefer betting in sprints rather than 600m

Also Ive noticed that quite a few sprinters running first up at 600m , that are expected to lead, miss the start
Its been pointed out to me that [b4 this new lure] that the dogs dont clearly hear the lure coming as in sprint races


From a punting point of view I found this the order of distances where i can find winners
300-400 Im useless, and dont bet on them anymore
450-520 Not bad for punting, but requires a lot of tape watching and time to master
600 always evenish races, comPETitive and a hard distance to win at
700+ meal ticket races and I have made plenty of $$$ over the years [and not many roughies win]
