well there are a few other things that have come up after the forum from a few weeks back when it got heated.

I dont know how true these are and i was hoping that someone out there would be able to lead me in the right direction.

The sale of the TAB i believe went for just under 50 million, there was a substantial consultancy fee of around 12 million. Who were the consultants for the sale of the tab?
how many consultants were there?

apparently Marg Long is a highly regarded administrator in the Greyhound Industry and she currently works in victoria where the industry is booming. She gets paid about 50% less then Peter Ali but her work is far superior. She applied for the job here, why didnt she get it?

Todd Kelly - dog trainer was involved in a car crash, rang up the club and informed them what had happened and that he had wrote his car off. He was given a $50 fine.

Wrote an excellent article describing the controversial dog
forum last month in my opinion.
Craig also does a gig on a greyhound show on 1197 5rph
every wednesday morning.
I have heard he is not allowed to continue at the radio station
after his article.......and not by the radio station ..................
This is purely speculative but the source was extremely reliable.

MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES

A well known trainer complained today about how he could not get
a run for his dog that had a good form line.

YET when i look at thursday nights formguide at AP i notice that race 1-1
a dog called HANNAN FLEX did this :
monday night.....was a reserve and got a run.
tuesday day.......was in at the gawler day meeting and was scratched as it ran the night before.
thursday night....is running again.

THATS one reason why some trainers get upset.

ALSO in race 9

When thier dogs win in this state 50% of the prizemoney goes interstate.

THATSanother reason why the local trainers are peturbed.

6 runs in 17 days... depends really. It's not summer, that's a plus, so heat exhaustion wouldn't be an issue.
If the dog was worked hard prior, & then given that assignment, but work of the dog had eased to nothing/very light, may not be a problem.
If the dog was sound, fit & thriving on the schedule, not a problem... really depends on the dog.

If the dog was sore/worked hard on & off the track/burnt out & dis-interested, well, the trainer needs to take a look at themselves....

That schedule, equating to- Mon APK, Thurs APK, Mon Pk, Thurs APK, Mon APK & Thurs APK. The dog might be giddy or bored, but I've seen plenty cope with that work load. Like I said, depends on the dog.
