should these heats (operative terminology) be run tomorrow night rather than during the heat ? (i think they should be)

when is the final ? (if sunday night i might go up for a look presuming the change has arrived)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I agree heats should have been run either at night or a lot earlier start so the races would be finished by lunchtime. Say approx a 9-9.30am start.

Final is on Sunday Night..

Five days is enough time.

Sunday EVENING (I presume card starts around 5pm) is better than Tuesday DAY for the dogs heat-wise.

seeing the forecast has changed & changed to have this heatwave continue, should it be postponed for a week & have it the sunday after ? .............as for me going up well not now i wont be going in that heat, it is bad enough to go to work in it let alone for a dog race & while the conditions made for the dogs off track, may've work last tuesday (according to peter smith on 5rph this morning on the dog show) what about the patrons that will be roasting under that tin shed they have......i fear someone will collapse given the conditions under that tin shed

Dogs have all pulled up very well. GRSA must be applauded with the ice rugs they had ready straight after the race for every dog to walk back to the kennels in. They also had buckets with ice and sponges in to wet the the dogs down and place their paws in. I didn't hear any complaints at the track about it being to stressful on the dogs. Obviously i don't know how many dogs IF any are showing any effects now its over 24 hours since they raced.

Backing up 5 days later wont be a worry as most dogs would have had another trial by then if they weren't going to race Sunday anyway. I suppose time will tell though..
