unitab tonight had the treble on races 3,4,5 at the vaal in south africa where as sky racings first event to be broadcast (as advertised on the website) was race 4, now the winner of race 3 'just a spark' was almost 40/1 on the south african tote & is showing $4.30 (fav) on unitab so it looks like some smarties have got on after the race seeing they have got the times/races incorrect, unitab are not showing any dividends for both race 3 & 4 atm........so what happens with this as i'm not sure of the rules regarding something like this, i could only presume bets taken after race 3 had actually started would be cancelled & all other bets to be alive but as i said i do not know the rules......surely someone at unitab will have to accept responsibility for this MALfunction

obviously they cancelled all bets after the race actually started because the win pool went down about $5,000 & the treble pool went down about a grand

I've been making $$$$ off Sth African gallops for years where as, as far as i'm concerned, yous can stick ya local gallops up ya ass when it comes to making money.

Bayman, Unitab aint the only Tab STUFFING UP lately.

In recent weeks TabOZBET (W.A. Tab) has had a couple of Stuff ups of their own which included paying out on the wrong nos. on coincidently a Sth African Gallop race a few weeks ago. A mate of mine rang them up about it the following day and they said that they were the right nos. My mate finally convinced them to check it out and they then conceded that they had stuffed up. Wrong no. for 3rd was the error. On asking them what was going to be done about it, the supervisor he was talking to said that he had no idea what was going to happen. Incidently my mate didn't bet on the race, just rang them for an explanation out of curiosity but never got an answer.
They also stuffed up again last week when there was a late scratching at the barrier but Ozbet failed to take it out and paid out with it included in the pools. The other 3 tabs all had it as a L/Scr.

These stuff ups are simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH but just goes to show that errors will always occur when a human element is involved.

But thats not Unitabs fault after all they only get the scratchings b4 the other TABs ....

the operator says no as he does not have a screen for that
I tell him u r kidding me
I then have to ring supertab
I asked for 8+9 odds
The operator promptly told me
I get my bet on
Got on with an eighth of a second left
It wins
