Angle Park Meeting moved to Gawler

Postby whatfuture » Fri Nov 20, 2009 2:48 pm

The Angle Park meeting scheduled for Monday night, 23rd November has been moved to Gawler.
Damage occurred to the track today during a scheduled turnover today and due to the extent of
the damage, there was concern over having the track ready for racing on Monday
In order to give reasonable notice to affected parties, it has been decided that the meeting will
be shifted to Gawler. All distances for the meeting will revert to Gawler’s distances, i.e. 515m
will become 531m; and the 600m events will become 643m races. Race times will remain as
previously published.
This means that Gawler will be used for racing on both Monday night & Tuesday afternoon next
week.
Owners & trainers should note that all races on Monday night will now be penalty free events.

From what i hear they will be working their butts off to get it ready before Wednesday with the heats of the Brian Johnstone Memorial on Wednesday...

Wonder if GRSA has made sure there will be enough staff on hand for Monday night.

Just seen 1 trainer in Adelaide has 22 dogs + 4 reserves nominated for tomorrow night. That's at least 2 ten dog trailers plus dogs inside the car just to get to the track

Would this be some sort of record?

Seeing you cant double dogs up in the trailer this trainer obviously has to have at least 2 ten dog trailers to get this many dogs to the track.
