ive noticed in nba match atlanta detroit atlanta -5.5 at evens detroit + 8.5 at evens not a guaranteed profit but cant lose if you back both at evens ive had $664 on both now hoping for atlanta to win by 6,7 or 8 to make $1328

yes well that doesnt surprise me

they are a very very average bookmaking service

i dont use them anymore, they are just absolutely useless and pathetic and the customer service is basically 0

people who use them and think they are good, good luck to you guys, but they are the most unprofessional corporate bookie ive ever come across.

Very foolish if you put both bets on with them, if your going to do this you do one bet at another agency, doing both at the one agency is just asking for alarm bells to go off. Many times they have made mistakes and stuck by them. When doing something like this you must remember they reserve the right to cancel the bets, its in their rules

Dunno Dutchy
Placing bets with 2 different agencies could also be a problem
lets use a scenario

NW $2-50 ...+10.5
GL $1-50.....-18.5

A corporate bookie puts up GL +18.5 by mistake
You put on $1,000 at +18.5 on GL
You then back NW +10.5 with another agency for $1,000
your feeling pretty happy with your bets, cant lose , might win twice

15 minutes later the +18.5 is cancelled
You are now left with the +10.5 NW

What then ?

Agree, you would have to keep a close eye to make sure the bet isnt cancelled. Agencies have software that picks up if your betting on both sides of a result and alarms go off, thats all Im saying

I'm not sure of the ruling, but surely you must have a case if you put a bet on and 15 minutes later they cancel it. You as a punter can't cancel the bet 15 minutes later if you make a mistake. I would be taking it further and looking into legal avenues.

they would have it in their rules if they make a mistake the bets would be void terrible service IMO. But you are right watchdog if you make a mistake it is badluck.

Agree with dutchy here - cje by doing what u did you have put them in a position where they cannot win if you ever find a mistake its like a must unwritten law that you cannot put the back bet on with the same bookie. Imo that is just plain stupid and your account will be marked by them.

last season or the season before (when aust played india) at sydney in the test match, i had already backed australia for a nice result & by tea on the last day there were only 2 possible results & sportsbet put the draw & india the wrong way around (can't recall which way) but i put $10.00 @ $151.00 to more than cover my aussie bet & by the time the 3rd session had started sportsbet had called me & cancelled the bet, i argued that this was unfair & had it been oncourse the bet would stand & i got told it is in our rules & we can do what we please...fortuneately australia got up when clarke got 3 wickets late in the day in one over

still think it is wrong, if we back something by mistake we can not cancel & neither should they
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Daveyboy
What you have posted is the law of the land
CJE could not lose so the Bookie terminated all bets

Davey what about this one

CJE has a bet with the same agency for a Place and picks Unitab
The bet misses a place
the dividend would have been $1-00
SPORTSBET could not lose the bet, can CJE cancel the bet 15 minutes after ....

 mal you know the answer so why ask the question ;)

But in this case they were guaranteed to LOSE money so its a very different situation to the one mentioned above. If the horse runs a place they break even - yet in this case any result the lose.

Means that if Milwaukee win by 3 or 4 both bets are collects.

Any other result will effectively result in a standoff as far as Im aware (better punters can correct me though)

OK, it doesn't work now as only 1 of the bets has a chance of hitting and BOTH bets can lose (If Milwaukee win by 4 or 5)
