that's as bad as all those 'bale' dogs & to a lessor extent the 'lombo' horses.....perhaps the caller should 'drop' the 'craiglea' name today, i presume they are from the craiglea stud

With No. 7 Wellalright scratched only leaves No. 3 Willy Nic to take on the rest.

The field looks more like a French trotting race where ALL the horses start with the same letter.

I was thinking that... just drop the first name.... I don't think its as bad with the bales as its the second name...

This is becos all horses born each year must start with same letter.
So this years 2yo may have to start with B, Next years May be C, then D the next year and so on.
So any age race will have horses all starting with same letter.
This is for the harness don't know bout the gallops.

Would have been a good day to play a trick on a mate -

"Hey get down to the TAB ive got the hottest tip of the year in Race 1 at Mackay, I was a bit pissed last night but remember it started with Craiglea, get on your bike and get on this tip, it will win at great odds" :D

have a listen to the race, the caller did well (hit the listen button)

another reason he may've called numbers only is the fact that they are broadcasting the race off the tv from england (this is done in both the gallops & the trots as obviously not too many of us speak french)
