Always like Tiger ($5) in a US Open.
Phil Mickelson ($7) has won the last two majors.
Vijay Singh ($13) won last week.
The South African pair of Els ($17) and Goosen ($13) are both dual US Open winners and can be pretty much counted on to perform solidly here.

Some value in Mike Weir ($41) to win and for a top 5 placing ($9) and some other roughies I like are -

Sean O'Hair at $151 and $31 and Bo Van Pelt at $126 and $26.


Of the Australians, I think Nick O'Hern has the game to win a US Open and he is paying $81 and $17 and $9 to finish as the leading Australian.

Id risk VJ Singh i had a crack at him after the first round of the last major, he was in front and i got $13 about him and backed him eachway, he was in the firing line but dropped off. I do concede that winning last week will be good for his confidence.

Tiger i think will be out to win this and dedicate to his father who recently passed away.

I havent been following the golf as closely as past years but if you can get some big juicy odds about Davis Love III have a small eachway.

Some good value to be had after round 1 given that the US Open layout is so tough that anyone who makes the cut has a chance to win.
