All the big guns in form at the right time for this one.
Always like Tiger ($5) in a US Open.
Phil Mickelson ($7) has won the last two majors.
Vijay Singh ($13) won last week.
The South African pair of Els ($17) and Goosen ($13) are both dual US Open winners and can be pretty much counted on to perform solidly here.
Some value in Mike Weir ($41) to win and for a top 5 placing ($9) and some other roughies I like are -
Sean O'Hair at $151 and $31 and Bo Van Pelt at $126 and $26.
Of the Australians, I think Nick O'Hern has the game to win a US Open and he is paying $81 and $17 and $9 to finish as the leading Australian.

Bluey welcolme to the stable fraternity.
Im not a golfing expert but the TIGER is the one to beat.
MT79 is the allrounder in sports interested to see what he thinks.

Id risk VJ Singh i had a crack at him after the first round of the last major, he was in front and i got $13 about him and backed him eachway, he was in the firing line but dropped off. I do concede that winning last week will be good for his confidence.
Tiger i think will be out to win this and dedicate to his father who recently passed away.
I havent been following the golf as closely as past years but if you can get some big juicy odds about Davis Love III have a small eachway.

Some good value to be had after round 1 given that the US Open layout is so tough that anyone who makes the cut has a chance to win.

I like having a punt on the golf after the first round as you get can very good value for guys only 3-4 shots off the pace and that is nothing with 54 holes still to be played.
Winged Foot looks a lot like a European course with slow bumpy greens, not a traditional US open course with slippery greens, so Ive looked at guys with that experience and put these bets on -
Bjorn at 60's
Ogilvy at 26's
Jimenez at 26's
Weir at 29's
Harrington at 50's

Always been a fan of the seasoned campaigner Miguel Angel Jiminez. Would be a worth a punt after a solid performance at the Masters and won't surprise me one bit if he wins it.

Leaderboard and price to win with TAB after round 3
2 Over $1.90 Phil Mickelson
2 Over $10.00 Kenneth Ferrie
3 Over $5.00 Geoff Ogilvy
5 Over $51.00 Steve Stricker
5 Over $9.00 Vijay Singh
5 Over $28.00 Colin Montgomerie
5 Over $26.00 Ian Poulter
6 Over $31.00 Padraig Harrington
6 Over $41.00 Mike Weir
6 Over $17.00 Jim Furyk
Can't see anyone outside this group winning it and while Mickelson would have to be favoured to win, I wouldn't be putting my house on it at $1.90

If i was to have a bet maybe Steve Stricker at the $51 and 3 behind.

Ogilvy a big show tomorrow, Harrington was looking good until the triple at the 18th today, still a show though...big night ahead - soccer then onto the golf!

Good on you if you had some of that. Bet with Mickelson's form that the yanks probably started engraving his name on the trophy as he stood on the 18th tee
