DOGS Thursday 15/06/06

Postby mal » Thu Jun 15, 2006 1:08 pm

That time of the week again.
Most races are obvious tonight.
The Jovanovic and Murray top nothchers all in [BEST TRAINERS IN SA by a minute]

race1...7-4-2-3-1 all these can lead and win.

race2...[3] BLINMAN has blistering early pace and should lead these
and is fitter 2nd up.[7]FELICITY FLEX should be prominent.

race3...3 chances here [3] YO YOS FLYER has won its only 2 runs at the 600m.
[1] TRUE SIGN should lead but is the distance too far ? [6] NYASALAND PRINCE
is well suited in the small field and WILL be in the finish.
i suggest quinellas 6 with 1/3.

race4...[3] FIRE AND PASSION is jumping well of late and if leads will be in this.
[7] KID DAKOTA is a good run on dog in the brilliant SIMES kennell and will be
there late and has great track sense.[4] MEASURED SPEED has an enourmous
motor but unlike kid dakota has limited track sense, this dog has talent.

race5...[3] YOUNG HECTOR can be devasting if allowed a clear passage to the
first turn.[2] MOOSE MASTER has early pace and appears the lamplighter in this
[1] MASTER CONFLICT was a big run to win 1st up in SA 8/6 and followed up
with a tidy effort at kulpara last weekend, the red lid makes it competitive.
[5] UNO YO YO jumps well and must be considered.

race6...[1] STATHISLA LASS is a brilliant sprinter/middle distance dog and from
the coverted red lid will be the hardest to beat, should lob in the first 3 and win.
[6]BRANDEEN NICK in the mercurial Peter Jovanovic kennell will appreciate this
race, the dog has been in races with an abundance of early speed of late and tonight
should lob better.

race7...The excillerating [8] JUMBO FORREST [not rick davies] the new glamour dog
in SA racing is going for its 9th or 10th win in a row. This greyhound in the amazing
Jovanovic kennell started its SA career in a wednesday day meeting[we tipped it at $8]
and saluted a while back. Is a versatile dog , in front unbeatable too date and great
from behind.Tonight has some great competition [3] SPANISH DRUM also in the Jovanovic
kennell is a big danger as i think it will lead.[7] LITTLE BIG MAN also in the Jovanovic kennel
is in form [1] POWER BY WATTS i think is a good thing for a place in this.

race8...[7] TEN TORNADOS in the astute Murray kennell has been a revelation since coming
over from QLD. Very versatile dog and has strong last sections in its races, with a clear run
will be a big chance in this.1-2+6 all jump well whilst [3] DEGREE OF STYLE will be running on.

race9...Have a cup of herbal tea.

race10...The immeasurable talents of Peter Jovanovic are on display again with the brilliant
but unpredictable [1] MR TAB drawn its lid in box 1. This dog is a sensation in trials but is suspect in a field.[8] REX FLEX is firing again and pay to follow.[7] SPRINGVALE JANET has
a place chance.

race11...The Troy Murray superdooper pup [1] QUINYANA is a star and drawn box1 again !!!!
Should muster through and lead these a merry dance.[4] COODYA in the astute Dave Condon
kennell is the main danger. The wildcard is [7] MAMMA LENA has a big motor but is a clumsy
unpredictable dog, will run on stoutly if clear.

my selections

race1...7423
race2...3761
race3...3614
race4...3748
race5...3215
race6...1672
race7...8137
race8...7235
race9...2864
race10.1872
race11.1472

best bets

race3...quinella 6 with 1/3
race 6-1 STRAHISLA LASS if you get close to $2-00 awin or 6 BRANDEEN NICK for a place.
race7-1 POWER OF WATTS for a place
race11-1 QUINYANA if about $1-50 or greater.

INTERSTATE INTERESTS [recommend 1 win and 4 places ratio]

BG2-1 TAD SMARTER super pup drawn to be prominent, back it ew for sure
BG3-1 BLUEZELLA drawn to be in the finish go close EW
BG6-7 BACK IN TEN in a tough race but always runs on well.
MG1-3 OUR LITTLE RUSH has no speed but tries very hard, nice place hope
MG10-4 SPRINGVALE SNOW is a SA dog lets watch it go round, very strong last sectionals
SG8-5 COMMANDER RUSH dumb dog but is big odds in this rough place chance.

DUTCHYS ANGEL PK TREBLE

1235/16/1378 THEN 1235/1/1378

The last leg is JUMBO FORREST if you want to trust it thats fine
but im being greedy and will try and get it beaten for a pot of gold.

Good luck all, i will tune in to the forum during the night.
If anyone wants a ''MAL CHECK'' on any runners send a post
through as i have studied comprehensively tonight as you can see
with my BRIEF anaylisis above.

Anyone see the craigcook/kennedy item in todays paper
I think someones hands are tied, MT79 may well explain.

good luck all.

here we go............

1 - tons of early pace here, the dog i liked 8 is scratched so now im thinking 3 but no confidence. any of these can lead all the way.

2 - again my top selection scratched so now left with two selections in 3,6.
3 - probably 2,3 but no bet cant see any value
4 - 3,7 best winning chances with the 4 motoring home late.
5 - 3 YOUNG HECTOR should win and watch the 1, i think this can be right in the finish.
6 - 1 should lead and win with 6,7 fighting out the placings.
7-8 Jumbo Forreest should win again but the box makes it interesting with a few other quick beginners drawn inside.
8 - 7 will be fav and entitled to be, i like the 2, hopefully it will be value.
9 - ordinary race but like the 2
10 - 1 if this dog gets a clear run WATCH THE CLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 - 1 another shorty that looks the goods, throw the 7 in the multiples

A little birdy tells me Mr Cook has been told by his
employer not to continue on with the radio show
after his article on the industry fiasco forum.

More gossip.
A greyhound trainer is under investigation for assualting
the chairman[kennedy] at that volatile industry forum.
Seemed a reliable source that informed me.

MT79 what did you think of coo/kennedy article in todays advertiser
Appears that someones hands are tied up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the toughest test for Jumbo Forrest - while its won 9 in a row and been impressive it has had some good draws and I reckon it could be 4-5 wide into the first turn and really be tested...I couldnt find a clear winner so chucked in the field looking for value like you Mal

DUTCHY

R6-1 STRATISLA LASS missed the start the $1-40 was too
short to touch but i pounced on BRANDEED MICK as expected this dog
did jump better and led the $7-60 +$1-90 was too good to refuse.

JUMBO FORRESTas we thought was 5 wide early, then got to 2nd and just
ran down the place special POWER BY WATTS [paid $1-40 place poor div.]
iT NOW HAS WON 10 IN A ROW , WHAT A DOG WHAT A TRAINER.

ist leg of the treble ruined my night i wish that trainers dogs were more consistent.
it was FLICK ALLEN which had useless form after 4 runs in 11 days.
It had 10 days off after those 4 runs and surprise surprise it improved
out of sight and wins$%&&%%*&!@#$(*&^%#%^&

SUMMARY

The preview found 5 winners but that is irrelevant.

THE BEST bets for the win all were to short to punt in SA
The place good things all prevailed, the QUIN just missed
The treble lost ...mixed bag in the locals.

THE INTERSTATE was excellent 8 bets 6 placegetters
if you bet the 1x4 ratio you finished with a tidy profit.

I think that the article in yesterdays paper with Cook/Kennedy was the funniest thing ive heard in a long time. I take it that KENNEDY is back from his holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that after the furore that erupted at the forum and word getting out about how the trainers and owners want Kennedy out, the article was nothing but a feel-good piece as to say how good he is and how good he was in his previous employment with arts and industry.

Im guessing that the broader public with the limited knowledge that they may have, may have agreed with the trainers and owners in regards to prizemoney drops etc, but now Kennedy has turned it all around and now the trainers and owners are the 'bad guys'. What Kennedy fails to recognise is that without the trainers/owners he wouldnt have a job.

I wonder who actually wrote the article.
