Sportingbet

Glenelg 3.25
Central Districts 3.25
Sturt 5.00
North Adelaide 5.50
Eagles 6.50
Norwood 13.00
Port Adelaide 26.00
South Adelaide 26.00
West Adelaide 31.00

See any value WCP ? Panthers big overs ;)

Sportsbet have a fairly different market.....

Central District 2.90
Sturt 4.25
Glenelg 5.00
North Adelaide 6.50
Norwood 10.00
Eagles 12.00
West Adelaide 17.00
Port Adelaide Magpies 26.00
South Adelaide 41.00

I am thinking of doing this...

$10,000 CD @ $3.25
$6,000 Glen @ $5
$6,000 Sturt @ $5
$2,000 Norwood @ $13
$2,200 Eagles @ $12

Total outlay $26,000 =

$32,500 if CD win, $30,000 if Glen or Sturt win

I'm surprised Sportingbet don't have odds for Woodville or West Torrens.

You can take Norwood out AG, North could be the one team that could break into the top 3 from last year

At those odds Grub, I think $1000 on the Bloods would be a better option than Norwood.

Can't believe that Sportbet have North $6 dollars (double the price) ahead of the Eagles.

Correct me if im wrong but didn't the Eagles finish ahead of North last season. Haven't the Eagles recruited just as well, if not better than North, Weren't the Eagles a fairly young side who probably have a fair bit of improvement in them.

Ever since A.Jarman went to North as coach, they have became the most over rated sporting side in Australia.

Id happily take a bet that North finish ahead of the Eagles in 2010.

Rookie coach at the Eagles, going to take them a season to gel together....same as North last year

Don't think Gooden has made mass changes to personell just brought in experienced players who should be able to make an impact straight away.

You probably know im not a big better Dutchy BUT i can't resist a small dangle on this. What do you say-

i take the Eagles you take North, winner is whoever finishes higher at the end of this seasons minor round.

At stake a carton of the regular beer you drink for me i drink Teds, winner to pay up first week of the finals at the ground.

What you say.

A thinking mans Gambler is whufc ;)
Reckon whufc is spot on .
Good luck mate don't drink all the carton at once ;)

I will just edit this post. At some stage perhaps round 2 or 3 both Burton and Knights will have to make a come back to footy .Of course the crows will need to bring these guys straight back into their SANFL league team .Of course this would be the Eagles ;)

So are you saying Gods Golden Eagles strategy is relying on injured Crows getting match fitness in the SANFL? Master stroke.

No point whatsoever in doing this as the only team over the odds is Centrals.
As an example, Sturt were better than $5 to win the flag just before the prelim final last year. Why not keep your money earning interest in the bank for 6 months and back them then IF they make it that far??? If not, you have saved yourself $6K.

Similarly, the teams finishing the minor round 4th and 5th are usually over $20 to win the flag at that stage. Assuming you don't think Norwood or Eagles will finish top 3, why not wait until then and get better odds???
