Hey Guys, thought id start up this topic, sort of suprised no one had yet, because it is a betting sports. I have been trying to get on the site for a while and finally got everythng up and running. I have been betting on the Netball since the new competition was introduced and i would have to say it is the best betting sport. Because most of the bookies don't know much about it, they put up stupid odds. Here are my bets for this week, then below are my bets so far this year.

Absolutely shattering!!! The Magic's game was 24-24 at half time, after they had they lead the whole first half. That tie at half time meant we only had a +0.6 unit profit. If the Magic were leading at half time, we would have had a +8.1 unit profit for the weekend. So have to say we had an excellent week, but were just unlucky not to rake it in.

The Vixens game, in reagrds to the result depends alot on whether Natasha Chokljat plays. If she does then they should win comfortably and cover this line easy. Over the past few seasons, when the top few teams play they are always tight and low scoring games, was total of 83 when they met earlier in the season, which goes in line that these are the two best defences, avergae giving up 42/43 goals a game, and they are ranked 5th and 6th for offence, so this line is way out. The Mystics have played well this year, taken it to the Magic twice and got close, then lost to the firebirds and vixens, and have won 3 games. Whilst the Steel have played the Pulse twice, so those wins dont count, and have been beaten easily when they have played the top teams. This is a 50/50 match, so the +4.5 is pretty good for the mystics.

You seem confident of the Swifts-Tbirds going under so I've slapped $10 on it as well.

Thought we were pretty unlucky not to take a clean sweep. The Swifts did their job on defence and the Thunderbirds on offence, but the Thunderbirds defence was terrible. That was the most goals (60), they have given up in the three years the comp has been running, and was also the most goals the Swifts have scored this year (previous best 56), and we only went down by 5 goals.

This round has plenty of value. First off the Vixens are in struggletown. The loss of Chokljat has been huge on them, now with Julie Corletto having knee surgery i cant see them getting near a fired up Thunderbirds outfit. Just can't seem them controlling Borrego. The Vixens were smashed by 21goals away to the Firebirds when Chokljat missed her first game, i wouldnt be suprised to something similar.
Moving onto the Swifts they are just so impressive. Easily accounting for anybody that dares come near them. They should be able to shut down the Firebirds and make it into a tight match but still win. The line for this game again is way out. The last time they met (round 1) it was the Swifts who won away to the Firebirds 47-50. Cant see the Firebirds going past 50 against the best defence in the game. And in saying that, its highly unlikely the Swifts will record 60 goals two games in a row.
The other game we are looking at is the Magic V Tactix. The last time they met was earlier in the year and it was the Magic who won 53-36. Again the line seems off. The Magic arent the high scoring team of the past two season and wont score any past 55, and the Magics defence is will keep the Tactix under 45. Probably see the total around that 90 mark here.

not sure of other results but the thunderbirds won easily and was a 3 unit play - good result there for ya S.P

Yeh the Magic/ Tactix games was odd. Total of 124, think its one of if not the highest scoring game in the short history, and it didnt even go to extra time. The other 3 tips i was so certain of, especially the thunderbirds. The total of the switfs game 44-40 was what was supposed to happen with them and the thunderbirds last week, low scoring when the best teams play. All in all can't complain with that weekend

Sticking with the percentages here. When the top teams play, usually low scoring. The swifts and thunderbirds are the top 2 defences so should be a tight match. A few nerves at the start of the game will cause a few turnovers and keep it low scoring.

The Magic have been here before, they should have the experience over the steel. The steel were in good form until getting thrashed against a swifts side that were playing for nothing. The travel could hurt them, as the Magic had a comfortable win at home against a non enthusiatic thunderbirds outfit. Home court advantage here for the Magic should help them cover that line.
