G'day folks,

Have been a bit quieter of late but doing okay on Wimbledon - my apologies for not posting some of the tips in head to head on those games, but some returns a little skinny. Have taken the Federer/Hingis combination at $16, Hewitt/Hingis at $93.40 and Blake/Hingis at $375 to make life interesting there.
On today's AFL, we'll take the Melbourne/Port game at either team to win by under 15.5pts. It should be a close one there, so $20 on this at $3.50 (return $70). Place some of these winnings on Sydney tonight - the $1.35 is a gift, so we'll have $40 on this, to return ($54). A little skinny, but hard to make any case for the Dockers here. The little roughie of today is Hawthorn - don't completely write them off at $2.50 with their ins. Just $15 on this, to return ($37.50).
Today's SANFL isn't a lot of value, but South at $1.12 to give a return over the Blues is acceptable, so we'll have $30 on this to return ($33.60). Will have $25 on Norwood tomorrow to return ($55) - this is some real value, and appeals as a good return.

At today's Sunshine Coast, just one little roughie here in R6, No.4, Devil. Like some of the form behind it, and at $26, will have just $5 each way on this.

One at tonight's trots - Perce has heard a whisper about a first starter in the 8th, Zechief. No exposed trial form, but have heard a sneaky line this may be really primed first up. We'll have $10 each way at the $7 in today's Tiser.

For the week's long term punt, another $15 on Tim Inkster for the Magarey. At $21, this is real value. SOMEONE from the Eagles will be racking up votes, and Perce has him having at least 9 votes so far - this is a real chance to grow further, so let's jump on now while we can.

To round out the weekend and make the total of $190 for the weekend - we'll take the multi of Bris/Syd/Richmond at $5.94 to win $89.10. Suspect the Magpies are a touch vulnerable this weekend, and the Tigers just the team to jump over the top.

Good luck, and remember folks, don't just tip the winners, back 'em on...

Folks, a return of $186.70 for the $190, so still $3.30 in the red after that. Naturally, old Perce would have been happier with a bit more on Richmond, but that's punting!

Tennis multi on tonight, folks: Stepanek/Sugiyama/Myskina/Murray/Ancic - $10 at $7 to win $70

Also - a sneaky $10 on Berdych to upset Federer at $10 - $100 win.

Okay folks, lost out on the last two punts there, so $20 down there, but let's get back off the canvas tonight:

We'll take the Wimbledon multi of Federer to win 3-1/Stepanek/Nadal/Sharapova - at $8.67. Take $15 on this to win $130.05. Don't be lulled into short odds about Hewitt - while he is a deserved 2nd fave to win the tournament, he has never played Bagdhatis, so would be very wary about the $1.33 on his game so far.

Also - for another long-termer (old Perce will put up the current list of the long term punts going later): have a long look at Tyson Edwards to win the Brownlow at $51. The Tiser article Tuesday was very revealing about his stats, and he is having an arguably better year than last year. He is the next Crows player behind Goodwin in the betting and we know that, with so many big wins, they will have many games where the 3-2-1 are all Adelaide. $51 really appeals on an each-way basis here.
