Couldn't get out when he needed to, I can't complain, if I had no connection I would've backed Falls with his form, record on heavier tracks and Oliver on board, the quinella paid $11.60 which was a surprise.

He's now raced on 5 different tracks, placed at all of them, he's had 5 different jockeys in his 17 starts, I think he's going to have a rest now after a relatively successful prep where I think all parties learnt a fair bit about his strengths and weaknesses.

Absolutely, a couple of disappointing results first up but was far from disgraced, it's only a bit of a hobby but you do get a fair buzz when he's running down the straight and up against the best jockeys in the country.

FWIW, the winner last night was from the Kent stable, it's where Lefty has been training too for the past few weeks while he's on his working holiday.

Plenty of horses go around and never even place, we're pretty lucky with this boy.

Took the 10's boosted early, will drift to 20's going on my form.
Also all upped & backed in the Oakleigh Pippie at 9's boosted, 1st up 3/3, Meech on a leader,cunnava barrier though.
All up 90/1
