Takes each alternative...
So with 3 horses a trixie puts on 4 bets... The 3 leg multi and every combination of the 3 horses in doubles so three doubles...
The patent is the same except it also backs each leg straight out..
Hope that makes sense!!!

They are a good way to do it.
Sportingbet I know offer them but I don't like the way they do it as you have to have the same amount on each combo.
I like the way Centrebet and UniTAB that I know of do it - you can put different amounts on each combo - like say $10 on each one, $5 on each double and $2 on the treble....

finally i cn ask this question....
if i had a multi on the afl which involved saints for the win, they were paying $1.25.
does the saints value in that multi become $1 or half the $1.25?

Was the draw an option?

Well the multi I posted in the AFL Rd 2 thread which Port Power ruined had St Kilda in it and that was listed as a Winning Leg. This was at Sportsbet too and draw is an option there. It is a shame the Power screwed it because I was interested to see what the St Kilda odds in the multi would have been, I had already written it off as a loss Friday night anyway.

I would have thought if the draw was an option you would lose unless it was a head to head bet then you would get half of $1.25 (ie $0.625)

It will be a refund.... Most H2H markets don't incorporate the Draw as an option.... The Draw is normally a separate market....
Pretty sure Sportsbet don't offer the Draw in their H2H markets....
@ Brodlach - just like when there is a dead heat in racing - half dividend of anything $2 or under is $1...

That can't be right Johno.... You would've got $1 I am sure of it... When horses or dogs or trots dead head and they are $1.50 or whatever it is always $1.00 it pays....

Im sure if horses dead heat as an odds on pop u get half of there winning divi - so a $1.60 pop pays 80c the win.
Every dead heat, results in the total payout being halved - no exception.

Boys, i had a multi as well involving Saints H2H.
Simply get half of the dividend, so if you were expecting a $150 payout and the draw occured, you get $75. Happened to me this weekend aswell
