GREYHOUND PREVIEW THU 27/07/06 + GOSSIP

Postby mal » Wed Jul 26, 2006 10:41 pm

Mt79 has provided some gossip coloumns in his 26/6 post

WING DING FLING
---------------------

A dog which has been over raced is now spelling because
it was bitten by a spider....Where did MT79 find out this
gossip was it on the Angle Park 'web'site...nyuk nyuk!!!!!

FORMGUIDE
--------------

The club does a magnificent publication for their form guides.
Its $5 to buy it and the guide is excellent and covers every dog
meeting around Australia on Mondays and Thursday nights.
Without doubt this publication is the best ive seen of the 3 codes.
However I spotted something which I think undermines the dog
industry on the first page inside the cover.
FORM EXPLANATION which shows how to read the dog form.
here is the example[some editing done]
______________________________________________________
1[red] LUCY MAREE..............

59 starts 9-4-8 $6525........T/D 35 starts 4-3-5 ..trainer S Collins....
1st[4]gr5..GAW...29MAR2005......
4th[7]gr5..PTP....01APR2005.........
3rd[6]gr5..APK....04APR2005.......
3rd[3]gr5..APK....07APR2005........
______________________________________________________

Can you believe this, they have put this dogs form up and
the dog has had 4 STARTS IN 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most trainers in WA-VIC-TAS-NSW-QLD give their dogs 1 run
a week and very occasionally 2 runs a week.
And look at this example, SA is the laughing stock of Australia.
4 runs in 9 days an Eskimo living on Jupiter knows thats wrong.

LATE MAL

ALB9-3 DRIFTALONG no third dividend no bet now.

R4-9 WILD JIM MCLAREN
-----------------------------

Extreme care if betting in this race as this dog has been
pinged for fighting and failing to persue in recent starts.
It is resuming from a 3 month suspension.
At its last run it fought in the home straight in a feature race.
It ran a very fast 30-07 in a trial.

Ill be having a pick 4 in Race 8 at Mangle Park, with the small jackpot I will box up 3,4,5,6,7 and see how that goes. The lay of the night is Satanic Wench at AP.... i cant see it crossing the field and from there (600M START) it is no hope....Prepaired to risk!!!!
My mates tip Alive In Paris is going around tonite at Penrith.... again he is very keen on it EW along with #2 in race 8 Each way.... They are the two from NSW....Do them allup win and place

o.k. Mr. mal, I am going to unload on your selections tonight, looking for a big bank for the Harness meeting at Moonee Valley tomorrow night. Reading between the lines, I can see that you are bordering on brilliance with your e/w and place selections at Mangle Park tonight. This is probably your big chance at the treble as well.
I,ve spoken to the bank manager, and she has told me there better not be a MALfunction.....Good Luck...

Invariably when you follow sometimes tips for the first time
you will lose...a mere forMALity.
Dont forget to back them at the prices I have suggested.

As for the treble I have tipped a couple of biggys in april/may
but have not picked one for about 2 months that got up.

another night at the office here we go again

1 - 5 is clearly the best dog but i feel the box may hinder its chances tonight, it will be fav but i wont be jumping on if its to short.

2 - 8 i feel can run a place here its big odds in The Advertiser

3 - 1 this has a great winning chance but is safe for the place. will get a good position going into the first turn on the fence and should prove too strong.

4 - 5 this is the best dog. 1 is $2.00 in the paper massive unders. 9 gets a start but is a FIGHTER so as mal mentioned beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 - 8 satanic wench, i actually think it can lead this lot and be in front for a very long way, the main danger is the 4 which is capable of leading or being very close to the front throughout.

6 - 1,3,8 the main hopes here, the 8 is well boxed out wide and maybe good odds.

7 - only 2 hopes and they are from the T. Murray kennel 1,2 the only other 2 with hopes are 7 then 3 for first 4's.

8 this is the first 4 jackpot and i think the 5 is the best winning chance and anchor the 4 to fill a place in the first 4 as it will be running on.

9 - 6 place if big odds

10 - 1 will be short and should be winning though its last start over the distance was ordinary.

11 - i like 6 over 5 here but not overly confident just hope they are nice e/w odds

PORT PIRIE have started sunday twilight meetings and apparently the first meeting was a real success. The turn-over off course was above expectations and the on-course figures were nearly double recent meetings.

that is quite a surprise that turnover on course was nearly double because they only had 1 TOTE PERSON all day long and there were people missing out on getting investments on so the TURNOVER could have been a lot greater if there was more then on person operAting the TOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to ring up all the hospitals when you were
not on line for your preview thursday 27/7/06.

I finally tip a treble for $60[DP took it ...imbecile!...]
and you would have tipped it cheaper for $24!!!!!!!!!
Stop it please or I will get the freak shiek to denounce you !.
