Did we all read that article in the Sunday Fail heading
of A NIGHT AT THE DOGS on pages 42 and 71 ?
What a load of absolute crapp, the only things i agree
on are the names of the people in the pictures !
2 quotes sums up this biased brown nosed article.

"One of the first things that becomes obvious at the dogs is
everybody knows each other-its a very small community "

Thats because most people that still go to the dogs are
owners/trainers/bookies/bar and resteraunt staff.

" there is something that brings people back again and again."

That something is owners/trainers/bookies/bar and resteruant staff
rolling up there to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PREVIEW[ paper odds quoted in brackets] [mal odds at end]
-----------------------------------------------

ANG3-1 LIQUID [$2-20] better than these WIN if we get $1-70

the best dogs but are looking at the 6oom trip for the first time.

mal, you do not give enough kudos to those responsible for the Sunday Mail coverage. That in itself is worth gold. i almost choked on my Weeties when I saw that page, as it was a great advertising coup. True or not. Harness Racing would die for such a two page spread.
Having said that, what a waste of good space, by putting in fairly uninspiring pictures. No shot of a full restaurant (is it ever full?) and the two shots of inside, showed three lonely punters and a messy floor, and one lonely bagman.

As for your treble tonight, not wanting to be labelled an imbecile, I think I will wait for you to have another run of nine outs. Or are you really back in form????

the SUNDAY MAIL SPREAD was just a big ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN. I wonder how much it cost the club to get that. Its the best thing the marketing department has ever done

it was the biggest load of crap i have ever seen or read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway onto more pressing matters - finding some winners

1 - 1 looks well boxed to run a place
3 - 1 looks the winner from the red and i think that the 8 is well boxed to run a place.
5 - 8 has had 4 starts over the distance and never missed a place and i think can fill a place again tonight. there are a number of chances in that race.
6- 2 the fighter is in again, has ability but RISK IT. the red is well drawn and has times to win. i think the 8 is nicely boxed out wide.
7 - 1 should be LAW again.
9 - interesting race i think the 4 and 5 will be the early pace and can hold on. they are an even bunch of dogs and any one could win.
10 - 1
11 - another interesting race, i think the 6 is the best dog in the race.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE

Actually Im not back DP as i have been selecting winners
with monotomous regularity since April when BAYMAN and
MIGHTY TIGER recruited me to the site.
Im only baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack with my trebles as
I had very lean pickings for june/july.
The real trebles guru is in fact DUTCHY, honestly if you had
taken his trebles since april you would be a minute in front.
PUNKY has followed my tips recently and made a few bob.
I am on a winning streak now for about 10 months but reality
suggests that the roll will come to an inevitable end.
Whilst Im running hot I will continue to provide my service
to all my disciples.

As for today at gawler dogs i like r10-1 classic concept to WIN.

In all sincerity MIGHTY TIGER has an even better strike
rate than me, if you followed his selections in june/july
there is a healthy profit.
The Kennel Foreman an erstwhile greyhound personality
made the statement in june that MT79 was the best
greyhound judge in the state.
Thats a huge wrap.

Please take care as we will all inevitably hit low times as well.

And always remember that old MT79 MAXIM if you back the shorties
"Everytime you win you dont lose."
