TABCORP has a competitor for a merger with PUNITAB.
The other interest is from the TATTERSALS CLUB.
The word i got is that there will be retrenchments in the
Victorian sector and jobs taken over by NSW staffing.
I have this information LEAK from within TABCORP.

The merger will benefit trifecta punters there are too many instances
of big dividend trifectas here paying less than the other 2 totes.
How many times does Punitab pay $500 for a tri that pays 2 grand
on another TAB.

Also the takeover will improve turnover and feed some money
back to the struggling clubs in SA.
I know of several large punters who have opened accounts interstate
and betting in larger pools to protect thier investments.

The merger is of neccessity for the survival of SA clubs.

if the trifecta dividend does increase as a result it might encourage me to shell out more mystery bets during the spring carnival when its raining and there is no cricket on a Saturday.

i think TATTERSALLS are in charge of the pokies but im not 100% sure on that
