Draw is terrible value, unless there is a monsoon. I think some dollars on the Aussies is the way to go as the pitch is terrible. Its already playing like a day 4 pitch.

Massive day coming up...

I agree backing both Aus and SL seems the smart option (without seeing the weather forecast) or laying the draw....

I wouldn't rule out the Galle weather playing a huge part in this test yet! I reckon the bookies have got the market spot on.

Really keen on Ryan Harris $3.60 most Aus wickets.

draw was $1.72 before the test started so im guessing they are expecting some bad weather, not sure what the win prices were.

Geez. I would have been in for a piece of that.

Not that it's a gimme, but that sounds like genuine value.

I am headin to Sri Lanka on the weekend to watch it (currently in Asia) and the rains at the moment are so heavy that a ground like Galle would only need a 1 or 2 hour shower to rule out the day. I know they cover the whole ground but it still gets some moisture and it has poor drainage, add to that the 2-3 hours it takes the ground staff to take the covers off. Yesterdays delayed start was to do with a shower 2 hours before the start of play. So I think the draw odds are about right. The Lankans are a bit short though, if the Aussies can get Jayawardne and Sangakarra with decent deliveries that got our openers out then they could struggle to get 250. I am backing the Aussies in from here (and hoping for a little rain to get the test through to Sunday).

My earlier post didnt work, pretty much said that I have backed Watto for most wickets as think he will clean up the tail with his reverse swing, lots of lbw's and bowled. He has just got his first.

Australia paying 1.88 to score under 175.5 runs in the 2nd dig

Surely a massive ask ... 4 wickets in hand on a raging turner ... 60 runs still to get
