The $100 to $1,000 or Bust............Current balance $43.50.

While we vwere around the mark last week, the bank took a real hammering. In reality, Fullaspeed was the killer. Went to the line climbing all over them, but in running fourth, cost us the Win and the Treble. Such is gambling!! Perhaps I should have listened to my parents....A fool and his money are soon parted. But, NO we will move on. What does not kill you, makes you stronger...or some such foolishness.

This week, I will tread carefully on what looks to be a very tricky card. But, as usual there is lots of value. This week's bet will be an ALL UP for the PLACE.

Race-1...No.1...Awesomely $8. Keeps drawing well, and tonight is no exeption. I am expecting Ambro Excel to lead, and cop pressure from both Charlie Maggee and My Man Sunshine. From the back row, B H Cullen will come around them to add more pressure. This should create the perfect situation for Awesomely, who surely must salute soon.

Race-5...No.5 Hei Heir $12. He was dissapointing last week. He had the 1-1 trail and could only finish fourth. Trouble was they jogged early and really sprinted home. Tonight is the final. There will be no jogging in this race. The speed should be on. Again, he is not far away from a good victory.

The Bet is $20 All Up the place on these two horse. Till next week, Good Luck and good punting.

There is a terrible disease in gambling. We are all victims to it. It is worse than cancer. It can be a killer. It is called..."The Itza Bee Syndrome". For those who follow the horses or dishlickers, we often get caught up on one animal. It appeals to us for lots of reasons. We like its name, or we once saw it do something magical, or we like the way it runs. MAL likes the way Itza Bee will often storm home, and Yes, 600M is its best distance. Well, I also suffer from this disease. Proof is in my two selections for tonight. And now I have found a third. H.P. Race-4...No.9. Fullaspeed. He should have won last week. He didn't. Here he is again this week, but drawn in nine, means he will not get caught up on the fence again. This mornings paper has him at $34.00. That is simply WRONG. At best he will (and should be) about $8. Keep an eye on him, because he is good enough to win this race. Now I know how "mal' feels. Iwill not make him an official bet, but he will be copping some of my hard earned. Life goes on...But must it!!

AG, I admire your loyalty. you stick better than superglue. You were right about Fullaspeed last week, as he did get trapped on the fence. It is the penalty you pay for a good run at a non sprint lane track. Still, I have a good feeling about tonight. Here's hoping.

Youre dead right DP, those non sprint lane tracks are a worry, but as i said earlier in the week, i reckon he had half a chance to get out in the back straight last week, hopefully the lad has learnt and gets him out tonight. last week was nothing but a track run for him...good luck tonight - must admit im feeling confident aswell!!!

Is anyone else on this $1000 or bust ride or is it just me and DP?
