Some serious deep stacks going on there :D
Buy in was $100. Boys wanted value for money lol. Have enough chips for a 20k start stack for 20 people, including colouring up at breaks.

Also have a cash game set that would easily suit a pretty big game. They were less keen for that though

Played online back in the day while at uni, haven't played online for a decade now though.
Play a bit of live poker at the casino, haven't made my way into the matchroom yet. Did the maylands a few times but that was it.

Tend to play a bit more in winter when there is less to do, that said, the casino isn't what it used to be so even now I'm dropping off.

Will find it hard to play online for cash unless you hide your location as we are now banned thanks to the govt.

I usually play cash games, 2/2nl or 1/2plo. Would be a fair way in front over the years, unfortunately when the bankroll gets up, there usually is a decent bill that needs the funds.
Don't mind tournaments but the bankroll doesnt allow for too many at the moment. Have had a couple of small cashes but still behind for ROI. Matchroom is a great venue, love the food they put on for players. Carparking is crap though..

Yeah, was lucky enough to take out a side event for a handy payday
Playing with an average 5 BB stack for about 80% of the last 5 hours shows what can happen with a bit of patience and luck
Had about 6% of chips in play when got to 3 handed, picked my spots to get'm in and the cards fell my way

Satellited into the Main Event
Got through Day 1a (Friday night) with an above average stack
Was gonna go to Cambridge for the Harness jewels on Saturday but was too F*&$ed from all the poker so didnt get to say hi to Nat
Then day 2 on Sunday of the Main after 3 hours i had a brain fade and blew my stack by slow playing a flopped set allowing my opponent to catch his bigger set on the turn and i was then too blind to get away from it FFS
Was a fun event meeting many weird and wonderful characters, Daniel Neilson the highlight playing alongside him.
He was so drunk on red wine but still managed to grow his stack as good as his monster beard and hair do.
Nice guy. Hes still in when play stopped tonight after 13 hours of play with 18 remaining from a field of 360
Final event tomorrow for me b4 moving on is the $440 Mega stack Freeze out.
Been a big week considering ive only played a handful of tourneys in the last few years

Interesting start to the 2019 WSOP Main Event
Play halted due to an earthquake and 2 players Disqualified all on the same day.
One player kicked out for pulling in the players stack next to him into his own stack whilst raking in a pot. The seat was vacant at the time but the stack was there. They wernt sure if it was deliberate or a joke but apparently he was pissed so who knows?
The other player to be disqualified shoved All In out of turn and exposed his cards deliberately. Then proceeded to take his shoes off, threw one in the air that bounced off the dealer and hit another player and then incensed he was given a lap penalty then dropped his pants and bared ALL whilst mooning the players and TD   [-X =D> =))

WTF ??? And these guys paid $10,000 to enter !!!!!!

Bit of action in at the poker zone last night.

7 interstaters rolled in and started playing $100/$100/$200/$400 PLO. Buying in for between $50k and $100k each, there was roughly half a million on the table.
Made our $2/$2 hold'em game on the table next to them look rather tame! haha

That would be good to watch with hole cams.

The biggest game I've seen was a similar size in Sydney. At 3pm in the afternoon!

I'm waiting for June when i get to Vegas for the WSOP

It is, but not the way it used to be. Can't play for real money on PokerStars etc any more.

There is a newish platform that's mainly on the mobile. @cossi11 is 1 of the guys running a local SA based club

Mates running another $20 game on PokerStars tonight starting at 7.35, usually only around 10 runners but the play’s solid. If anyone’s interested shoot me a PM. Cheers
