PORT PIRIE R2-5 ABOVE AVERAGE
One is a greyhound, the other a pacer
The greyhound won, SP $3-00
The pacer is running in just over an hours time and is currently an odds on fav
If it wins, has it ever happened on the same day that a dog/pacer with the same name winning ?

Would have been a good date to re-start GDP racing 24/6/2019
June 24th is a significant date in South Australian trotting history
50 years ago on 24/6/1969 was the first meeting at GDP
Great work by the harness club back then landing on a Bolivar race track some 22 days before the Americans landed on the moon
In commemoration of the 50 years at GDP, there is a special meeting on Saturday 29/6/2019 at GDP
There will be a race in honor called the Anniversary Cup
The first winner at GDP in 1969 was a trotter called Beau Power in race 1
The first Inter Dominion winner was in 1976, a local win to the Len Lewis trained Carclew
I backed Carclew, a favorite horse of mine at 50/1 that night
The runner up , Pure Steel was a certainty beaten , and went on to become one of the strongest and greatest pacers of all time

Where can you find a list of Inter dominion winners? I was pretty close to connections in the late 80's with a few horses, trying to see if "Overstayer" or "Satan's Command" won any.
