Blacksadance smashed the Albion Park track record last night running 1:49 for the mile. Ridiculously quick.

1.49.2 Amazing time from a horse thats won 18 from 75 starts and tho a handy horse i wouldn't have thought has ever been talked about being in the top echelon of horses. Was also in the death for the 1st half of the race before putting paid to 2019 NZ Cup Winner Cruz Bromac and racing away to record a 11.8m win
Be interesting to see how he shapes up in coming months in bigger races .

Booo

I hope they get a decent caller come in and not the guy with the lisp. His voice grates on me during calls.

Agree has been a great caller and ambassador for the sport of Harness racing in SA over the last few decades.
Will be a big loss.
Interesting to read he's put aside a $20,000 bank for future punting on the trots and his comments re Corporate Bookies.

"Firstly, take it easy and live it up. I‘ve always been a punter, so I've got a couple of plans around betting strategies and making a wage from that every week. I'm allocating a bank of $20,000 to do that and if I blow the bank, that will be it in terms of gambling. Hopefully the corporate bookies will let me on for a bet though. It's getting harder and harder to find new ones that don't want to shaft you.

Has also done a lot for the Greyhounds as well. At events like the Gawler Gold Cup. he would do the roaming, microphone in hand, interviewing, chatting passing on comments.

No more bets thankyou.

Cant even run their main Saturday meeting which they've been doing for ever because Sky wont give them Sky 1 coverage and it's uneconomic to be shown on Sky 2 due to the reduced betting turnover.

Meanwhile at Gloucester Park the FARCE thats been going on there forever continued tonight with ALL 9 leaders ALL WINNING !!!!!
Surely it's time they blew the track up and built a modern one to give more than just the leaders a chance? Even Strath that doesn't even get meetings are being proactive !

i have gone thru all 31 pagesof this thread and you have been whingeing about glossy park for 10 ******* years! yes 10!!!!!!!!!!!
