here are my tips for tonight (16/3/2012)@ globe derby.might even race go tonight.will post results tonight.

race 1: no 7.apeaceof his story.I R SMITH aboard. no particular reason.has the form of 14232 and is 5/1. 5 eachway.

race 2:i like the nos :1/2 here so will quinella them.8 is the favourite . 1/2 are 2nd and 3rd favs and might get a cushy run in transit in front and behind the leader and might be too hard to catch. $10 quinella

race 3:piss weak race with no good form about any horse.even last start winner stanley charger is 15/1. so i look to the drivers and webster will do me. no 4 @ 5 eachway.

race 4:no 5 nulla star has great form (33121) but will it cross? second fav no 1 fayes my girl has the gun draw and i think will salute the judge this time.they probably will quinella the race, so i will go 5 wins on no 1 and quinella nos 1/5 for $5

race 5:7 runners arg!!with equal favs @ $3.50 im looking for a bit of value in this small race. so i might put the hard earned on no 6. with early pace likely to be a factor, hoping he snags him back for 1 shot at them at the finish. no 6 5 eachway at $13/1 in the paper.

race 6:nos 4/8 are the standouts in this race. both favs @ $3 and the quinella might pay ok. my nanna faye(8) has had a spell and trialled well reciently and arambi star(4) won at pirie last week(down in grade) but has form in this class. nos 4/8 quinella $10

race 7: the pura milk trot, looks a deadset race between no1 siegfried, and no 3 kanyapella ned. both favs and should quinella the race easily. nos 1/3 quinella $10, not expecting a huge dividend.

race 8:it always intrigues me that a horse with the form of (7579s) is only $4.30. they usually pay ok aswell so for that reason alone im going for no 3. 5 eachway in the getout stakes!!

good luck !!

How long have the sulky-less trots races been held at Melton?

Not only does it look ridiculous, it also looks pretty volatile to galloping. Was not a fan.

it appears both codes will need to look at using youtube and just focus on one area of the current shows for each clip.

Sat mornings no change as yet. The trots were offered an arvo timeslot to clash with sports shows on 5aa and mmm

tabradio are stopping the trot show that comes on late fri nite. Surely they could keep this going and have a dog show and air them during this period, and put up on site to download as podcasts.

The trouble with those shows on 5RPH is that they are preeching to the converted so no new ears are listening in. Sad to see them go but no big loss to the industries i dont think.
