Anyone decipher what this meant from Saturday night?

David Hill

Aside from a couple of kamikaze pilots, the racing has been great from Globe Derby tonight, but I hear it pales in comparison to the colour and movement down in the stall area.

Probably similar to an incident a few months back involving the girlfriends/wives ....

A couple of famous people trackside today, Jackpot Jim and Bayman

Sir mal the punters pal ^:)^

Great tipping by the great man by narrowing down the winning chances in the Cup to 10 horses from the 12 that were running
Putting $10 on each you would've got $310 back for your $100 :partyman: :supz:

I narrowed it down to 3 bets, Grey Maverick (won) @ $31 and Betterhavetime (2nd) @ $26 and Lovable Larrikin @ $17 (2nd last) so enjoyed a profitable race tho i was too dumb to have them in the win column on my F4 ticket which paid a dividend of $76,000 !!!!!

Would there be any Club (Gallops, Trots or Dogs) that have decent tote turnover these days? I doubt it

30 years ago Strath Dogs on a Wednesday night were turning over $40 - 50K through the on course tote

Reckon on course turnover across all codes would be about 90 - 95% down from that era

Last 4 races at Globe Derby called off due to state of the track

Bom App says theyve had 6 mm of rain

This has been going on for as long as i can remember, as soon as they get a pissy bit of rain they're called off. been happening for decades
Farcical.
Ive no idea about preparing trotting tracks but the rain has been forecast for days in advance

It seem incredibly rare for trots to be called off for wet tracks in any other state but for some reason rain must be wetter or more destructive in South Australia ??? FFS Over in Sweden and the States they race in the frick'n snow !!!!
