Today we had a horse running at GDP .
r7-6 The Tibetian Tool driven by Angella Cavallaro.
It was listed in the press as not having a start.
It was quoted at $6-50 in the paper.
It ran a poor race finishing well back.
BAYMAN had to guess its form in his preview and will no doubt
be infuriated with the information I obtained.
I investigated the horse and found that it trialled at
Stawell on the 6th of august and ran 7th of 7 horses.
IT HAD A START ON 23RD OF AUGUST AT TERANG
and ran 10th of 10 at a TAB meeting and started at $56.
That run was 5 days ago and did not appear on the formguides.
Who is responsible for the lack of form ? not good enough
when punters are completely and farcically misled.

well MAL as an astute punter of greyhounds you should realise that with ANGLE PARK dogs that race on the thursday night and back up again on the monday, dont have the run from thursday night in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there are other examples, such as dogs going from Pt Pirie or strath on a sunday to a tuesday or wednesday morning not having the last start in!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is an absolute disgrace, THE PUNTERS arent getting the full form!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The run was not included in the On course race books.
At least the bookies got it right , I have been told it started
at about $21.
It was the last leg of the Melbourne Quadrella, it cost some
people money to throw it in.
BAYMAN you must be infuriated with you being a proffessional
form anaylist, even you alluded to the fact in your GDP preview,
that it was a long way for a horse to come over to win $1314 1st prize.

SA harness industry in a debacle. Prizemoney shortages - not going to improve. Numerous trainer/drivers going interstate. Won't be harness racing in SA in five years time......
Ray Goble is leaving the state.

thats what i work off the racebook plus watching replays & i use the harness weekly as well but for mondays its replays & the racebook, because when the book said first start i thought 'this will probably go alright to bring it this far' having said it wasn't in the book, the book i got was printed on friday & i got it on friday so in fairness the printers would not have had the form updated in time to put in the run it had. in my market i had it 5/1 with a query if i knew the run of its first start i would've had it 16/1 but them the breaks & i didn't bet in that race anyway

BAYMAN dont let them off the hook.
We put men on the moon in 1969.
Yet the Advertiser could not update the form from 5 days ago.
Whoever supplied the Advertiser that form let us down.
