Had a mate over the Spring Carnival who took up the Ladbrokes offer of Deposit $700 and they match it with $700 in Bonus Bets. Must have been some sort of glitch in their system because my mate was able to withdraw his initial deposit and just play with the Bonus Bets. Mates he told about it though were unable to do the same thing a few days later.

I use a number of betting sites, hard to rank in order because a number are much the same.

For me...

Betfair - best odds
Topsport - $2 lines get a hammering during footy season. Usually decent odds.
Ladbrokes/Betstar - until they were forced to remove their inplay 'quick call' betting feature
Crownbet - reasonable promos, and decent rewards program if you turnover a bit.
Sportsbet - nothing that particularly stands out in the positive or negative
Classicbet - this aussie bookie is better suited to racing bettors.
Will Hill/CB/TW - banned me over the weekend for breaching terms and conditions of promos, whatever that means.
Palmerbet - didnt mind using them, but had them reject a sizable bet in questionable fashion so pricks in my book.
Madbookie - very basic, regularly the worst odds in markets

I also have accounts with Luxbet, unibet and bet 365 but rarely use them. Unibets app is woeful.

This is true but really depends on stake size. Betting a smaller stake means there are promotional odds/offers out there that outweigh the standard best odds from pinny.

If I start betting harder, and can't take advantage of offers like $2 lines then I'll start looking at pinnacle.

FWIW, I follow a footy provider who kept separate spreadsheets for pinnacle and best available odds and the ROI outperformed pinnacle, but like I said if you are staking a larger amount the best(promo) odds may not be available.

Sportsbet have now "adjusted" their daily bet boost. You can no longer back the same horse on say a Friday then on Saturday.
Bet boost now only available on one runner in selected race per day, and you can only bet boost that horse once.

Here's one to avoid lads, Classic Bet.
Joined up $1000 deposit $1000 free bets

It seems they dont accept anything that will pay out about 2k or more. I like to put multis on, say $20 @ 250, they then only partially accept $5. So to get around this i just put the multi on 4 times @ $5 which got accepted. I did this a couple times and they closed my account. Only had it for a week and the current balance was about $1400 all free bets used. I imagine now they will be pricks and it will take forever to get my money. Also had about $300 in pending bets including one for the SANFL premiers. Anyone know if they have to refund that bet?? And what happens to the other pending bets that are on this arvo?

Been meaning to put this mob up (sorry Days) .. they are seriously shite!

Think their turnover requirements are something like triple the deposit amount before you can take anything out. The rep I dealt with was friendly as in salesperson mode, but as useful as Herpes thereafter.

How's this form from Sportsbet on the weekend - 3/4 time of Hawks v Crows game, Adelaide paying (according to their website and app) $31 to win 40+.

Unlikely, but coming home with the breeze thought it worth a small Hail Mary.

Phone them up, place the bet, operator reads it back with odds of $26. I said how come your site is showing $31?

She has no answer, in fact doesn't even attempt it, basically says do you want the bet or not? I say yep put it on and now tell me why the odds difference?

Crickets for a while before she eventually says "oh there it is, back to $31 now". Lol it was still 3/4 time ffs.

Ladbrokes have NSW at $2.50 for max $25
I then spent $27 on QLD +2.5

Worst case is profit 65c
Or $10 nsw win by more 3+
Or $60odd if qld can lose by 2 or less

Did anyone see the guy that played Sportsbet over the weekend?

They had a promotion, if your team leads by 24 it pays out. Freo were up by 24 and lost but it still paid out.

This was his bet the day before too. He cashed out on Essendon when they were up, and Sydney won.

I was just thinking last night it would have been good to keep some stats during the period of this Sportsbet promo to see how often the roughies managed to get 4 goal up, and what they were paying.

Without researching to back it up, Geelong seem a prime candidate to bet against with this promotion, because they were 24 points behind against Collingwood, Essendon, Gold Coast (Maybe?) and Fremantle, all opponents that would have been paying well. However 3 of those occurred outside the period of the promotion.
